US artist Danny Daze, out of Miami, has long been affiliated with the more electronic side of dance music. From the early days in the electro scene and more abstract forms of techno, the Omnidisc boss has covered a lot of musical ground since then. Helping to reimagine the underground landscape, Danny was pivotal in the early 2010s club sound with releases on Hot Creations, Ellum Audio, and Kompakt. He soon turned his attention back to the obscure side of the dancefloor and IDM. As much a music lover and dancer as he is an artist, he knows exactly what works on the dancefloor and his recent album “::BLUE::” on his own Omnidisc imprint exemplifies this ethos. DC Salas is a Belgian DJ and producer from Brussels with Peruvian roots. Known for weaving house, acid, techno, goa, early '90s progressive, and New Beat into his sets, DC Salas crafts eclectic journeys driven by high energy and hypnotic grooves. As a producer, he has released standout EPs and remixes on respected labels such as Live at Robert Johnson, Semi Delicious, R.A.N.D Muzik, Time Passages, Correspondant, Relish, Kill The DJ, Futureboogie, and B-Pitch Control.  2023 was marked by critical acclaim with his "Tio EP" on Semi Delicious and "Pressure EP," a collaboration between R.A.N.D Muzik and Echocentric. These releases received enthusiastic support from DJ Mag, Bandcamp, Avalon Emerson, Job Jobse, DJ Masda, Spray, Kendal, Mr. Ho, Parris DJ, Quest, Evan Baggs, Binh, Ivan Smagghe, and more. 2025 promises to be another impactful year, with upcoming EPs slated for Binh’s Time Passages, Jen Cardini’s Correspondant, and anticipated releases on Cocoon and Eya Records. I will try to select and share the tracks that might be not that widely known, new or old, and make sure they reach the ears of the listeners. For the first mix I chose a little slower tempo to start it off, but decided to hold that pace throughout the mix.

"I approached this mix with the active listeners experience in mind. Creating a broad range in sound but with a fluid buildup and breakdown. The opportunity to compose something more freeform, without some of the restrictions that come with the common dancefloor set. We tend to overlook the meditative qualities in music and I really wanted to highlight those properties and bring them to the forefront of this mix. I believe all forms of music can serve different purposes given in the right context, and it's up to the listener to interpret what that purpose may be from their own experience."
