Overcoming a Spirit of Self Doubt As we enter this new season of accelerated growth in the Kingdom of God, the biggest obstacle to achieving the goal of  Spreading the Good News Of the Gospel will be the Limitations we place on ourselves. These limitations stem from our own feelings of Inadequacy. It is time to overcome a Spirit of Self Doubt and step out into your assignment in the kingdom of God.

We are the same way in the eyes of God. We are his treasures, and he is waiting for just the right time to put you on display. Let God RE-PURPOSE YOUR REJECTION!

These past few years have been tough for many believers, me included. There have been times when I flat out thought I was going to lose. I thought God was able, willing and ready to help me but for whatever reason, it felt like HE CHOSE NOT TO. At that moment and in that battle, I felt like I was going to lose. 
Like a wide receiver I was expecting to miss the pass or drop the ball. So to cover up my own faith failure, I made excuses like the receiver who falls to the ground and get up limping. (The losers limp) The purpose of the limp is to camouflage their failure. The purposes of my excuses are to cover up my own feelings of helplessness and/or powerlessness.   "I couldn't because . . ." is an excuse for inaction. "I would have, but . . ." is an excuse for not pressing in. True athletes like true believers, realize that winning requires pressing beyond your present pain and position in order to see success.

Hello everyone,

I'm loving the advance of fall 2015! I Pray all is well with you and yours. Recently I spent a weekend with my brother Ted Payton in Bowie MD just hanging out in the presence of God. As we were worshiping, Holy Spirit honored us with this beautiful melody. Thanks to Eric Drew on the drums. (Who just learned to play drums by the way!)

I get to live with this incredible array of melody, rhythm, harmony, and words floating around in my spirit 24/7. I am so grateful to God for being an amplifier of the sounds of heaven. May you be blessed by God generosity to us!
