Hailing from Colombo, Sri Lanka, one of the newest hotbeds of progressive house, NOIYSE PROJECT has made a big impact in just a few short years, with releases on The Soundgarden, Balkan Connection, Droid9 and Clinique Recordings to name just a few. Now we welcome NOIYSE PROJECT to onedotsixtwo with his scintillating two track EP ‘Lost the Lust / Time Traveller’. 

First up, Lost the Lust is a driving and chugging beast, interspersed with long sweeps, muted pipe melodies and a beautiful arrangement of topline keys which would sit very comfortably in a peak-time festival set. Next up ‘Time Traveller’ continues with the peak-time vibes with tribal rhythms and a reverberating bass leading us into a euphoric breakdown underpinned by mesmerisingly gentle melodic keys which contrast beautifully against the tough tribal groove.

Nikko.Z's Dopamine White continues a strong start to the year by welcoming VegaZ SL and Imal SL to the label for their debut EP. Based in Sri Lanka, both VegaZ and Imal are early on into their journey's as electronic music producers, however they have both found solid footing in short order. With a combined discography that includes releases via BCSA, Droid9 South America, Nature Rec, One Of A Kind and SLC-6 Music, this is a duo that shows just how talented the up-and-coming crop of Sri Lankan artists are. Now continuing on that upward trajectory, VegaZ and Imal debut on Dopamine White with ‘Beneath the Surface'.
Beginning with the title track, VegaZ and Imal present a stylish blend of rhythm and groove. Warm beats and a chunky low-end power the foundation, while acid-like effects and ghostly soundscapes add depth and colour across the first act. Spanning over two minutes in length, a melodic centrepiece sits at the core of the journey, gently building anticipation through fluttery motifs and gaseous sweeps, before a quiet calm resets the groove for a driving finale.
The companion piece ‘See You on the Other Side' caps off the EP with a gorgeous reflective vibe. A touch deeper than its predecessor, it's a voluptuous groove and layers of clattering percussion which set the course for hypnotic lines and tranquil melodies to work their magic. Atmospheric swells and fragmented arps rise at timely moments as the story unfolds, perfectly setting the stage for another expansive centrepiece. Tastefully melodic, the interlude exudes a nostalgic warmth, before shifting mood as metallic arps unite and ultimately spearhead a glowing apex. It rounds out a quality two track offering from Vegaz and Imal, who make an excellent Dopamine White debut with their ‘Beneath the Surface' EP.

I've been always interested in making remixes which i actually love to do when it comes to production, so here's a remix i did for one of my favorite tracks "Outliers" by Cid Inc. & Darin Epsilon with an amplifying atmospheric Techno groove & with the touch of Tech percussion.

On the back of an orignal EP release on Movement Records and a stellar remix of Tim Penner's "Lost Again" on Particles, Dimuth K coughs up a secret weapon here.

The foundation of the track is Dimuth's signature infectious, cosmic groove that he has become notorious for; while a  hypnotic, oriental flare sweeps across a sonic landscape. 
As the main groove gives way for the breakdown, you are transported to an entirely different realm. Dimuth places Sudha's shaman-like vocal chant in the midst of this cinematic experience and provides a truly out of body moment, before bringing you back down full of strong, positive energy.

Supported by the maestro Hernan Cattaneo himself at festivals in Brazil, Amsterdam and Miami to name a few, Dimuth K's rendition of Moola Meditation is a true diamond in the rough.

Combining a host of established and emerging talents under a seasonal banner, the "Winter Particles 2019" compilation once again showcases the wealth of global talent found in the underground dance arena. Eleven tracks now represent the very best in progressive and melodic house and techno.

Opening the winter selection box, Greek sensation, Savvas, reminds listeners of his attention to detail and melodic prowess through "Mindfulness", while dub.format and Pedro Capelossi and NOIYSE PROJECT hit the ground running with impressive low-end theory as "Mentalist" and "Myth in Manus" combine huge bass prowess with delicate melodic touch.

German star, Wisqo demonstrates why he has been such a hit with the likes of Lump Music and Pipe and Pochet with the elegantly crafted "Limitless" before Kynan Cosma takes a break from his new Sense of Mind moniker to carve out a rasping bass gem and Moog inspired melody in "Sequent" that Bodzin himself would be proud of. Notable for its middle eastern vocal flourishes, E.F.G. then combines a strong rhythmic backdrop and sumptuous chord progressions in "Days and Nights".

Veteran, Rick Pier O'Neil, rarely disappoints and "Shining" is no exception to an ever-growing catalogue of prized jewels, with its dynamic energy, bass prowess and sparkling lead motif keeping the French artist firmly on point. Bosnian, Youngen, immediately impresses with the exquisitely crafted and emotive "Atlantis" that explodes into a chorus of counterpoint motifs.

Argentina's very own Nicholas Van Orton continues his distinctive groove-laden approach to his craft through "Siete Dioses" as haunting melodies and guitar phrasing play a central role in a mesmerising track. Colombian Dabeat departs from fellow countryman and regular collaborator, Kamilo Sanclemente, to shine brightly on a solo outing, "Beyond the Stars", as gated synths and stepped arpeggio present a strong representation of the title and pitched and warped melodies bend space and time. Continuing the outer space theme, Neptun 505 closes the compilation with a shimmering affair that finds a twinkling lead motif illuminating the "Light of a Non-Existent Star" in an iridescent glow, backed by dominant beat, richly textured pads and ticking percussion.

Eleven tracks brightly lit in winter sun gives Particles a crisp, clean edge for its early 2019 collection.

After the runaway success of their Winter Collection, Nick Warren’s The Soundgarden delivers another stellar compilation of musical gems to keep you grooving and moving through those warm summer nights.  

The dynamic duo of Guhus and Sebastian Busto kick off proceedings, with their track ‘Yemel’ arriving in a flurry of chiming percussion, beautifully layered pads, and stunningly ethereal vocal samples. Yoni Yarchi’s ‘My Story’ is next up, and with it comes a deceptively catchy piano refrain and precisely the kind of shuffling backbeat that’s guaranteed to get your foot tapping by the time you hit the two-minute mark.

After releasing his debut EP for The Soundgarden, Walking Friedrichshain, back in March, SIX brings his prodigal production prowess and trademark synth-led aggression to the Summer Collection with the stomping ‘That Balance’. Label newcomer Ultraverse follows up, with his track ‘New York New York’ arriving in a haze of throbbing bass and whirring synthesisers, before Argentina’s Paul Deep takes over the reins with the decidedly melodic – and meticulously produced – ‘Anemona’. 

As we pass the halfway point of the collection, we’re greeted with label favourite Marian (AR) and his meticulously layered mid-tempo offering, ‘Parsimony’. From there, we’re whisked off into a world of fearsome synth walls and throbbing bass lines from the aptly named NOIYSE PROJECT and their offering, ‘Druid Poem’, before being gently brought back down to earth by the harmonic pads and soft snares of Kasey Taylor and Karlisle’s ‘Pans Theme’. 

Kamilo Sanclemente is no stranger to The Soundgarden, and his team-up with prodigious newcomer Juan Pablo Torrez – the pounding and vibrant ‘Leda’ – provides yet another highlight of this non-stop collection. London’s Nichols keeps the energy going with his melodic and hard-hitting effort, ‘Kaleidoscope’, before Juan Sapia closes off proceedings with the showstopping, floor-filling, and bona-fide brilliant ‘Turquoise’.

Across the Arabian Sea and South Atlantic Ocean, Hasith and Juan Sapia join together in "Our Heart of Ruin". A voyage of discovery, progressive in every sense where alley debutants showcase silky smooth, melodic interplay through emotive passages and dramatic denouement. A rapidly rising star shines out of South America where Kamilo Sanclemente and Mauro Aguirre continue an extraordinary trajectory to success that rises apace. Carefully considered phrasing and eloquent choices find new melodic patterns emerging from "Our Heart of Ruin" where a modern musical soul bares all.

Out of middle England, a dance icon is reinvented in full Bluum. A return to Mango Alley is redolent in a shimmering array of spine-tingling melodies that permeate the rhythmic force while a powerful bassline energises through raw intensity. From the garden of sound via Colombo, Noiyse Project write a new Mango Alley chapter. Familiar sonic echoes writ large in visceral detail as familiar melodies ripple delicately across intricate percussive frame, the beating heart of an exhilarating new story.
