A timeless classic reworked with depth and atmosphere.  I wanted to give this song a new life while preserving its essence because I've always admired its sentiment.  This edit was created to sound well on late-night drives as well as on dance floors at anytime thanks to its grooves, layered textures, and bit of nostalgia. André Moret returns to the label with a debut full release - Drift Whispers EP.  

Joining the family with the excellent Sprout Achievements Vol 1, André continues to impress since breaking onto the global progressive scene in 2018. Now signed to Warung, The Soundgarden, and UV, among others, his silky smooth, melodic sound has won him an army of high-profile fans.   Opening with title track, ‘Drift Whispers’, its quickly obvious why he’s riding the crest of a wave right now. Vibey beats, a rubbery bass line and earworm arps hypnotise you with a huge smile and infectious joy. Acid in the break adds new dimensions before the powerful second half thunders to the finish.   On the flip side, ‘Dreamer’ reveals André’s more thoughtful side. Deeper and more considered, the sonics paint a vivid, if reflective, image underpinned by thumping low end and sparse, snappy percussion. Perfect for those sunrise moments when the floor is completely spellbound and patiently waiting for the first rays of daylight to pour into the club.

A story told in four acts: The title track delivers a powerful groove, evocative melodies, and an epic drop—perfect for the dancefloor. “Rouse” follows with a more introspective, timeless character and a melodic progression that gently touches the heart. The EP closes with two organic gems: “Moonlight Calling” blends ethnic percussion with nostalgic piano lines that evoke an inner nightscape, while “Morning Tides” wraps the journey in dreamy harmonies and a fluid, water-like rhythm.
