We are very glad to present you the debut EP from our befriended DJ and Deepersense Music's artist from Poland. Hailing from Wrocław, but living in Kraków for many years, Mikołaj aka Kola is not a newcomer on the scene and in the Deepersense Music family. About a year ago we had a pleasure to release his track "Under the Radar" on 7th volume of our flagship mini-compilation called „Deeper Roots". This time we can enjoy the EP release with two excellent tracks included. Both "Artemis" and "Asteria" are full of groove and drive, perfect to put the dancefloor on fire. DJ sets by Kola are full of energetic tracks on the border of techno, deep-tech and progressive and you can feel it also in his productions. Definitely worth checking out and adding to your playlists!

Deepersense Music warmly welcomes great DJ and producer from Sri Lanka with his debut release on our imprint! Thanushka Chathuranga, who just joined the Deepersense Music family, is well known by his stage name ALPHA21. He has always been closely linked to electronic music, developing his musical taste and polishing it since 2015. Thanushka already released his sounds on such labels as Droid9, Electronic Tree, Stellar Foutain, Another Life Music among many others. We are very glad to present you his fresh track in collaboration with another talented DJ and producer - Jack Lazarus. Jack, who comes from the UK, has lots of great releases under his belt either: Balkan Connection, One Of A Kind, ICONYC Noir or JEE Productions are just a couple from the labels where he released his music. Sounds delivered by two of such talnted artists can only be top notch! Furthermore on the remix duties we have label head-honcho CJ Art and VegaZ SL, another talented artist from Sri Lanka, who debuts in our label. For fans of deep progressive sound, this is a release not to be missed!

Biografía

Nicolás Demattei nacido en Mar del Plata, Buenos Aires (Argentina), y actualmente residiendo en Madrid. A mediados de los años 90, tuvo si primer contacto con la música electrónica trabajando como RRPP de los mejores clubs electrónicos de su ciudad. De allí en adelante, desarrolló un profundo amor por el género y la Cultura de Club, presenciando diversos festivales a lo largo y a ancho del mundo.

 Influenciado por bandas como Depeche Mode o Radiohead y por Dj´s como John Digweed, Hernán Cattaneo o Danny Howells. Su oído evolucionó y se nutrió escuchando innumerables sesiones, encontrando e incorporando a su Adn un sonido y una marca distintiva basada en mezclas minuciosas y elegantes, dotadas de sonidos frescos y logrando crear armonías que generan una atmósfera esencial para la pista.

Hoy en día, trabajando como Founder en Lescat Producciones y Dj Residente en Underwater Events Madrid, Nicolas ha compartido cabina con artistas de primer nivel como Hernán Cattaneo, John Digweed, Sasha, Guy J, DJ Tennis, Lopezhouse Live, Mariano Mellino, Nick Varon, Juan Hansen, Ezequiel Arias, Joan Retamero, entre otros.

Biography

Nicolás Demattei born in Mar del Plata, Buenos Aires (Argentina), and currently residing in Madrid. In the mid-90s, he had his first contact with electronic music working as PR for the best electronic clubs in his city. From then on, he developed a deep love for the genre and Club Culture, attending various festivals all over the world.

 He was influenced by bands like Depeche Mode or Radiohead and by DJs like John Digweed, Hernán Cattaneo or Danny Howells. His ear evolved and was nurtured by listening to countless sessions, finding and incorporating into his DNA a distinctive sound and brand based on meticulous and elegant mixes, endowed with fresh sounds and managing to create harmonies that generate an essential atmosphere for the track.

Today, working as Founder at Lescat Producciones and Resident Dj at Underwater Events Madrid, Nicolas has shared a booth with top-level artists such as Hernán Cattaneo, John Digweed, Sasha, Guy J, DJ Tennis, Lopezhouse Live, Mariano Mellino, Nick Varon , Juan Hansen, Ezequiel Arias, Joan Retamero, among others.

Music has been a large influence in my life. I can remember from a young age as the years went by I developed a love for electronic sounds. All the while the EDM scence was on the rise with groups like the Chemical Brother's, The Prodigy ,Sasha and Digweed really drawing me in.
Robert Miles's Children opened my ears. 
Forever. 
This tune was the begining of the amazing journey that has led me to where I am here today.  A vast knowledge and appreciation for all EDM, the likes of Paul van Dyk, Tiesto, Marco V  and Ferry Corsten.
