Espacio Perpendicular radio show at 9128.live by Doozer

In 2023, a new private space opened in Madrid with the goal to become a meeting point purely for the enjoyment and discovery of underground music. Since 2022, Espacio Perpendicular has broadcasted some of its many meetings and recordings here on 9128.live. 2024 sees the second season of the programme.

For the first week of 2024 and the return of the Espacio Perpendicular weekly program, we have a colorful mix by one of the heads of the EP project, Doozer, responsible for brokenloop podcast series.

First sketches for a collab with Radboud Mens from 2018, that did not make it to the final album "Transition Recordings" (Astral Industries 2021). It was a bit "too funky" for Astral but still too nice not to share. I never did the overdubs i had in mind....

Discogs gives the final album a rating of 4.9 (out of 5). Great to see so many people love these final recordings, my first after the loss of my best friend and soulmate J. Derwort, bless you. I believe the outtro is a wonderful 4th world scape that i almost forgot, but still love a lot. Free download for now on Soundcloud for you earlybirds. 

We are working now on a brand new double album called "Son Of Chi & Radboud Mens - Return To The Kallikatsou" to be released in 2024 TBA. Looking forward!

Over the years, she has crafted a very unique sonic language that transcends the dance floor, into subliminal rhythmic, ambient, and experimental territories. She has a gift for conjuring dynamic narratives that evoke powerful emotions and otherworldly visualisations.

Collage i made for the reopening of the Rotterdam World Museum in 2009. It was played in a loop on hidden speakers (on low volume) as people were walking through the expo. 

I sampled fieldrecordings and original African live music and soundscapes from Youtube from all the different cultures that were represented at the exposition. 

A lot of these African pieces of art have recently been returned to the rightful owners, which is good news of course.
