The Vision Reels - 9128.live 2 Year Birthday Takeover - Exclusive DJ Set

Adam, who now resides in London, has already released his debut album on techno/ambient imprint Kizen records and has several new projects in the pipeline. This August, it has been two years since launching the first iteration of the 9128.live 24/7 streaming site + app. 

We didn’t know back then, that the additional live weekend takeovers would be such an escape for us all during the lockdowns and a way to connect, keep a small community together and discover even more new music. But they ended up becoming some of our fondest memories over the past two years. So we’ll be celebrating this milestone with another marathon takeover on August 20th.

Atmospheric and textured, this latest podcast by Boskøw deploys itself like a film narrative taking you on an epic journey. Mixing ambient, downtempo, experimental and dub techno, his universe evolves among BPM & textures for the sole purpose of hypnotising the mind. He delivers in each work an introspective & esoteric electronic music, from seabeds to stationary orbits. 

After several years performing in Paris, the French DJ and producer is now based in Marseille. He released his first EP in 2018 on the Italian label Ovunqve.

Live @ Culture Box Chillout 22.07.2022

Hey folks ! After a month of silence, I'm very proud to present you the 20th episode of the Stellar ambient series, made by a craftsman of spiritual music and a friend in the person of Vâyu. 

As a french producer and a DJ based in Paris, he released his first tracks on @yellowsign in 2016, and joined the Brussels based label @norite on which he already shows up a couple of tracks. He made his first LP on the spanish label @annulled_music which focuses on the alchemy between matter and soul, bringing about altered states of consciousness. The tribal rhythms and the organic atmospheres create an unique space for the shaman path.

This mix is a beautiful facet of the artistic line of Vayu: both psychedelic, meditative and transcendental, he accompanies us through a mystical journey, the variety of the pieces allowing us to imagine crossing different worlds as hallucinatory as each other. Perfect to follow a meditative process !

The mix was recorded on July, 8th at the @otiumrec 's "Spatio Veridi II" private outdoor event, using vinyl and CDJ's.

The concept I had in mind for this mix was loose at the beginning. I wanted to create something that was happy, uplifting and melodic, as opposed to anything dark during these already dark times (and it’s very easy for me to go that way) I ended up turning to a lot of 90’s (and new but 90’s influenced) music, a couple of classics and reissues, and found myself dreaming of new worlds - that era of music had the most amazing power to transport you for some reason. 

The mix starts off with Ambient, but quickly moves into more dub, uptempo, breaks, beats and full-on Trance... Those of you who know me well, know I love Trance music and surprisingly this is the first time I’ve managed to sneak it into an ASIP mix.

I saw this mix as a route to escapism, a look out of the window, and a journey that just goes up and up.

"An invitation to Relax"

"This recording is an invitation to relax  and relieve any tensions. 
You can follow the instructions below. 
Stay in Shavasana for as long as you want - let go !
Lie flat on the back with the arms about 15 cm away from the body, palms facing upward.
A thin pillow or folded cloth may be placed behind the head to prevent discomfort. A rolled up blanket can be placed under the knees, heels still touching the ground, to relieve low back tension. 
Let the fingers curl up slightly.
Move the feet slightly apart to a comfortable position and close the eyes.
The head and spine should be in a straight line.
Make sure the head does not fall to one side or the other.
Relax the whole body and stop all physical movement. 
Become aware of the natural breath and allow it to become rhythmic and relaxed".
