Yela’s upbringing in England exposed him to a rich and vibrant music scene, igniting his passion for electronic music. His tireless digging through vinyl collections in search of abstract and unique tracks has allowed him to curate intriguing sets, in which he is known to explore the interconnectivity between a variety of different genres, tying his selections with elements of a tribalism, intricate percussion and a touch of cinematic flair. Six years ago, Yela returned to his hometown, Antwerp in Belgium where he recently co-founded the musical passion project Oridoo together with Hofmann. Over its first editions Oridoo has featured some promising upcoming local & international DJ’s behind the turntables and aims to deliver authentic electronic musical experiences from the heart.

Session 023 - Bassie

Bassie is the known owner of Amplitude Records, the infamous records store in The Hague. In his hours and hours of listening and playing vinyl in the store and at home, he made this beautiful selection of downtempo gems. Besides the record store, Bassie co-founded Elastic The Hague, a collective that indulges in organising events. We are very grateful for our friendship and collaboration and are excited for the future!

Antwerp born, Brussels based DJ Lola Haro burst into the scene in 2018 with a fresh selection of warm sounds and an intuition for creating the right mood. Her love and passion for music and her refreshing authentic approach have gained her a lot of recognition within the Belgian club scene.

Carl's back and he's brought a friend...

3 hour 20 minute segment from Carl and Jane's B2B recorded live at Restless Nights in Bristol last year. 

'This was recorded between 1-4am, of a 7 hours all-night set at Restless Nights Bristol Feb 2019. It was in a swingers' club, absolutely bursting at the seems packed and people didn't leave the floor all night. 

The following night we had to do it all again in Manchester - so the whole weekend was road trip with my wife at the wheel and Carl curled up with our dog in the back :)

I think the only other b2b we did last year was another marathon stint at Brave Factory in Kiev. We haven't done one since and none in the diary yet for this year, so maybe this is rarer than we thought. We've been doing b2bs now since I think a very messy Day Moves afterparty back in 2013  - actually the first one was probably back at Carl's house in Cleethorpes even further back.'
