Australian producer and e-boy netanya unveils his latest single “Ondine’s Curse”, a melancholic synthpop track that merges mythological lyricism with electronic atmosphere. The track, featuring emotional vocals by UK singer Oliver Podmore, marks a bold stylistic shift that foreshadows the sonic evolution of netanya’s upcoming third album. The track recently appeared on Fresh 92.7FM as part of netanya’s exclusive DJ mix for the Fresh off the Decks segment, further showcasing his further expansion into Australia’s dance and electronic scene.

With nearly 3 million streams across platforms and a discography that’s traversed trap, future bass, hyperpop, and house, netanya continues to carve a space in the Australian electronic music scene. "Ondine’s Curse" explores themes of romantic fatalism, vulnerability, and the quiet devastation of longing — wrapped in dreamy synths and slow-burning cinematic production.

“It's one of the most personal songs I ever made,” says netanya. “It captures that beautiful, cursed space between love and loss where myth meets memory.”

The song follows on from 2023’s streaming successes of “Colourblind”, "Fascination" and 2021’s breakthrough “King of My Castle”, which hit #6 on the AMRAP Metro Chart. Past works have garnered radio support from Joy 94.9 FM, Fresh 92.7 FM, and community stations around Australia, with nods from international names like Marco Carola and Sergio Matina.

"Ondine’s Curse" will be part of netanya’s upcoming album called "Without You", a highly anticipated project that's coming in January 2026. The exciting album featuring high-profile EDM collaborations, including the summer banger “Fascination” with uncredited vocals from ZHIKO, best known for Day N’ Night with VAVO.
