Second part of the 3 hours mix, 1 hour of Deep Dubstep & 45min of Steppa to finish by 2 tracks more techno, to introduce Arkunay and his Darkprog set.
Recorded at "Mystic", a very nice dub to psychedelic event, organised by association CAS7 at "L'Agronaute" in Nantes.

For this third opus, i invited Kaam for 2 and a half hours of Deep Dubstep mix, a bit sketchy here or there, but that's the thing about recording a live b2b unprepared mix ;) even more when friends are around us drinking/smoking/laughing/enjoying haha, what a great evening it was ! :D

After playback, i find that we managed to create a real progressive and original atmosphere on this mix, our two worlds matched perfectly ! Tell me what you think about that :)

Homease session #6 by MC Rose

Here is my first mix in the cave, the mighty Macadam. Invited by the Bass Paradize crew, I was charged to begin the hostilities, so i started with ~30min of really deep and instrumental dubstep and then ~30min way more agressive with some dark atmosphere and heavy basslines.

For this 7th opus, i shared the booth with my close friend Lalou, aka Noizawa, for a very special mix, 2h40 from 100 to 200 bpm. We start with Deep Bass music, and then we dive into Dark Prog, Acid Techno, Forest, Acidcore, Drum'n'Bass to finish with some heavy Hitech.
This mix is also our first one, for Lalou it was the first one at all, so she had to learn how to mix and how to "perform" in the same time (bravo sis' btw), and for me it was the first one in that style !
It was a huge pleasure to blend our universes and build this crazy evolving mix.

For the 9th Homease Session, i hosted the great Hylian Fieds for an Acid, Break & Electronic mix, a very bouncy and punchy style ! That kind of mix which makes you wanna mooove hard !

I'm very happy to welcome Hylian Fields at my house, first of all because i like the man and his music, and secondly because he will be at the Vineyard Festival, Friday 30th of May !

Homease Session #9 by Hylian Fields

Here it is, the 10th Homease Session, and what a wonderful occasion to invite the (almost) entire Ataraxy family ! Indeed, i met them 10 years ago and this year they celebrate their 10 years in the sound-system culture ! 10,10,10
For this birthday they made a special "classics" selection, with many killer tunes who made their selection well known in Nantes area and even further, and also some fresh dubz ;)

So let's go for more than 3h30 of Ataraxy selection (i only played few tunes, can you find them ? ;)), starting with 1h30 of Roots, then 1 hour of Dub and finishing by 1h of Stepper. 

This Homease was the most crowded haha, it was really nice & fun to received 5 members of the family (+3 friends/roommates) in my bedroom/dj studio ! ^^ The selection was a bit messy but we spend a wonderful evening remembering all the classics we loved so much :)

Homease Session #10 w/ Ataraxy

Mix recorded at Vineyard Station Festival, organised by the dream team Anima'Sound Association.
From Dubstep to Drum & Bass, with a little of "something in between" ;)

This one is very special for me, because in was my first time playing at a festival & because this festival was the first one of the lovely association that i'm being part of :)
So for this occasion i decided to bring together all the music i love the most, these emotions & sensations that i'm crazy about.
From the darkest atmospheres to the sweetest melodies, dive with me in this ocean of basses...

This is also the first time i tried to pass from dubstep to drum & bass with an evolving bpm, from 140 to 170, with 7 tracks making the step up, so this is the little "something in between" ;)

The mixing is a bit sketchy sometimes because i recorded it in one shot, 2 months after the festival (the live record was not usable ^^'), but those who were at the festival knows that it was a little better there ;)

If you have any feedback, it would be really appreciated, it's always good for improving myself :)

Homease Session #13 by Léa

For this 14th opus, i received Grr from Lille & his friend Risolee, actually i didn't met them before the session but it was a very nice and funny way to get to know each other, around music we love ! It was a great evening and also a great teaching for me with these two mix bosses !

This 2h30 journey start with 30min of uk dub by Grr, then we dive into deep dubstep, grime and other various bass for 2 hours, sometimes crunchy, sometimes mental, sometimes really jumpy ;) we gradually left the classic 140 to reach 145, 147... faster please !

It's been a long time since i recorded a 100% Bass Music Homease (the last was the 4th) so i'm really happy to share this one ! A new ocean of bass just for you, so i hope you will enjoy the dive ;)

We prepared the selection with passion to create an evolving journey through darkness, from 140 to 170 bpm.
As we love the tracks in their entirety, we decided to not mix/blend them that much and let them tell their stories.

As you may have understand, this excursion is full of dirty kick-bass, weird distorted sounds and dark frightening atmospheres...

Homease Session #20 w/ Aksu

For this 21th Homease, i invited B-B aka Baptiste from the Frog Attack collective for a full 140 mix.

We really love have the same taste in Dubstep, Deep & Dark, and this mix is full of it. Just a few voices & intruments, otherwise only big sub-bass, woobles, crunchy & sharp sounds with dark atmosphere...

What a pleasure to return to a full 140 mix like this, i didn't do it since a long time ! And it was a nice moment, chill on a sunday evening, after partying all the weekend...  Sweet mood with angry music, perfect combo ! ;)
