Catz 'n Dogz are dropping on their Step the 'Reality Check' EP from Milan's legendary Elisa Bee.

Elisa Bee is not a new face on the scene. She has released music on cutting edge labels for the last 10+ years, including UTTU, I Love Acid, Balkan Recordings to name but a few. She now joins the extensive roster of Step Recordings which includes the likes of Third Son, Jackson Ryland, Baltra, Metropolitan Soul Museum and many more.

Elisa Bee's latest work, 'Reality Check' EP, is a collection of 3 club focused gems, starting with the trippy and somewhat melancholic title track. The second cut, 'Soul Travelling' is pure space age Techno, with relentless synth melodies driving the track's unstoppable groove. Not much introduction is needed for Baldo, landing on STEP Recordings with a fresh new EP backed up by a remix from the mighty Youandewan.

Catz 'n Dogz are adding yet another amazing talent to the roster of their STEP Recordings, this time releasing an EP from Subwax and Physical Education's Baldo and backed up with a remix from Youandewan.

After releasing music on the likes of Running Back, Baldo has prepared a 3 track EP for Step. The record moves swiftly amongst early 90's Influences thanks to Baldo's creative skills with his 1996's Roland MC-303 through futuristic Trance inspired 4/4 cuts. Josh Caffé (Paranoid London's singer) is also featured on the record on the straight up Acid track 'Prince Of The Night', adding that light night deep touch to the collection.

Finally the EP is finished off by the fast paced hypnotic roller that is Youandewan's remix of 'Spatial Delivery'. Ready for those space age vibes?

After dropping Prog House rollers from Baldo and Youandewan or 4/4 Techno flavoured cuts from Lady Blacktronika and Elisa Bee, Step Recordings is about to release something more soulful and closer to original House music. The man behind this is Danny B, a Spanish producer heavily inspired by masters like Frankie Knuckles, ‪Larry Heard‬ and Kerry Chandler. His 'Find Myself' EP is a collection of 4 original tracks, a masterfully crafted mix of acidy basslines, broken beats, warm pads and dub flavoured stabs, the perfect combination of elements for dancefloor fillers. A duo making some serious noise of late, Latvian pairing Queer On Acid are on a roll following material on Dense & Pika's Kneaded Pains and an impressive remix of TERR and Daniel Watts on Clash Lion across recent months. Having made their first outing on Catz 'n Dogz's Steps Recordings at the start of summer, gaining support from the likes of Laurent Garnier, Tiga, DJ Bone, TEED, Truncate and Anja Schneider, they make a quick return with a trio of shady and heady house cuts across their 'Better Days' EP, backed by a powerful, up-front remix from recent Pets Recordings signee LUPE.

Having worked for years in a duo, first as 3 Channels and now as the lauded, world-touring house outfit Catz ’n Dogz, Polish producer Voitek Taranczuk’s  project, Ketiov, is personal. It is about focusing on his own process and creative instincts — after all, Ketiov is Voitek in reverse. Here, he indulges his boundary-breaking impulses, crossing genres and experimenting with sound. Ketiov grew up  in Poland, where as a young dj  hosted parties and build his musical taste.  Few years ago moved from Berlin to Madrid where he continues his journey.  He is a resident at Cafe Berlin in Madrid and with his husband David Rigote, started the very successful LGBTQ+ party  CARBS. Releasing tracks himself and mostly on vinyl, Ketiov has repressed his 2017 “Ketiov A/B” twice due to popular demand, and received strong feedback for “Ketiov Edits 01” (Jan 2018) and “Ketiov C/D&E” (Feb 2018). “Rhythm Trainx Vol 2,” his piece de resistance featuring huge sound and only one drummer, was released on Gerd Janson’s Running Back in May 2018.
Ketiov’s innovative rhythmic play and effortless mixing of deep house, disco, techno and 90s house have landed him  Dj mixes with the infamous Honey Soundsystem, Buttons, Is Burning and dance sets at clubs all around Europe including Panorama Bar and the world at large. Ketiov believes in order to be a great collaborator, one needs to pursue their own projects alongside. Only time will tell how Voitek’s addictive sound will evolve on his own and in his powerful collaborations.

Step Recordings starts its 2021 with a bang: in January they drop an EP coming from Shall Not Fade and Madhouse's usual suspect Ruff Stuff.

After releasing music from Baltra, Pantera Krause, Third Son and more, Catz N' Dogz are adding another rising talent to their Step's catalogue: Ruff Stuff. The Italian born, Berlin based producer delivers 4 hot House tinged tracks to warm up the winter.

Ruff Stuff has put together for STEP a collection of warm analogue sounding tracks, driven by soulful pads, relentless 4/4 grooves, smooth and deep basslines. The EP opens up with the fast paced 'Daily Routine', guided by a wonderfully programmed 909 drum beat. Following is 'Let It Move', a deep cut permeated by a classic House vibe, where you can really hear Ruff Stuff's personal touch. 'River Side', with its percussion and sampled voice is another gem, one of those unstoppable tracks that looks at Chicago for inspiration. The EP closes with 'Ma Love': straight groove, bright stabs, rumbling bass: dancefloor killer.
