Here we are, finally got this one together.

All my ideas to the animation scribbled below, doing my best to describe the different time points and what my brain has been up to and visualising.

Wreckless Urbandon
The melting Pot: 00:00 - 02:25
Our character is concerned, they've just about been surviving in city life but suffering from stress and anxiety. Things are becoming too much. They miss nature, clean spaces and calm, there's too much human rubbish everywhere, from litter to politics.
The final straw is forgetting or losing their keep cup. They order a takeaway coffee in a cup. When finished they don't know whether to recycle it or put it in the rubbish bin. They don't want to put it in the rubbish bin, but can it be recycled? They put it in the side of their bag instead. It's not fully empty and leaks all over them.

n.b. There is a hint of eco warrior about our character, but that doesn't have to be the sole storyline (?) This story maybe a better told focusing on recognising stress & anxiety and helping those with it?

Too much: 02:25 - 03:45
Part 1. 02:25 - 03:05:
Over whelmed by it all the character finds them self running, frantically bouncing off human made structures, vehicles, other people, litter, objects, colours, lights etc. The city is too much.
Part 2. 03:05 - 03:45:
Colour starts to drain out of picture. The world loses it's filling. Slipping in to line drawn animation and moving to black & white. Eventually the world crackles down to just a single line with our character in it. The line is spiky not rounded before it finally flattens out. It's just the character and a flat line that they're running on. The line ends and they slip off the end falling in to nothingness, falling.

Not what I thought: 03:45 - 04:25
They are touched on the shoulder by a stranger who stops to check and offer help.
Our character is curled up tightly in a ball at the foot of a tree on the edge of the city park, the city just next door but nature within touching distance. Comfort & Support begins to feel real. Humans can help. Friends are near.

It's still here: 04:25 - 05:05
The helper comforts them and points up at the circling birds of prey between the skyscrapers above. They see wildlife all around them, friendly, surviving, thriving. They understand what they're looking for in this world, what they need to help them an what they need to do to help each other, themselves and everything. They start to move in time with the footsteps. With confidence.

Night time: 05:05 - 05:45
An urban fox appears as the camera spins back in to the depth of the city. They're running with it. It's enjoying being followed. It's playing. They are as well.

Balance 05:45 - 07:05
Our character and friend run with foxes, birds of prey, insects, wildlife. GLOWING FIREFLIES EVERYWHERE. In between cars, traffic over bins through doors around street corners, through the park, smiling. Laughing, running. Making their world.
The towers and human mess loses it's filling. gliding back to line drawn animation and moving to black & white, except for our two characters and the wildlife / nature. The world simplifies down to just a single line with our characters and wildlife. The line finally flattens out. It's just the characters and wildlife and a flat line that they're all running on. The line ends and they stream off down and up as birds, fireflies and water.

Hi All,

It's mainly electronic for me, generally around the chill out, lounge & ambient styles. But it can, and will flow about the place.

I'm always on the hunt for collaboration work as I find this pushes me in to new areas and produces far more new ideas for my own sounds.
I would love some of you out there to write and perform lyrics for any of my tunes if they resonate with you, have a listen and let me know.   :)

About me:
I'm an English composer who watched his brother learn the keyboard and picked bits up. I then found myself borrowing time on his Amiga500 to write tunes in OctaMED. I learnt to play the drums for a year and then had a go at the guitar... One day it'll do more with me than just hurt my fingers! ;) I've always loved the piano and find synthesizers fascinating!

Influences include: Chicane, Genesis, Pink Floyd, Air, Rhian Sheehan, Vangelis, Jean-Michel Jarre, Above&Beyond, Dirty Vegas, Groove Armada, Lemon Jelly, Ulrch Schnauss, etc. etc. . . 

These days I find myself within FL Studio, it's been great for me over the past 10 years or so, but I'm definitely still just a beginner. Trying to adventure out into new sounds and styles... slowly! ;)
I love writing Ambient Chill Out and sounds with a Progressive Electro nature to them, and the percussion is important to me.
