We are honored here at Musicis4Lovers.com to be able to host the new remix from Nu and Acid Pauli of Daniel Bortz's beautiful composition, "The Misery feat. Nils Corssen". 

Daniel Bortz isn't a big fan of reckless experiments. A fact that makes this new release even more remarkable: he's breaking his own rule of not having his own tracks remixed.

Needless to say, he didn't just pick anyone to get this job done. His choice fell on some highly esteemed friends and colleagues, resulting in a quite remarkable package.

Acid Pauli and Nu give us their interpretation of “The Misery”, using Nils Corssen´s voice as a hook lead element, never losing the melancholy vibe of the original and still putting it into a rather dancefloor-compatible context.

German deep house professor LEXER was on our list for a possible remix since quite a while. We're following his music carefully and so we're happy that we could get him on board to give it a try. His remix takes a more melancholic direction: He added some organ pads and organic textures to his remix as well as he re-arranged the vocals in a very special kind of way that gives the track a fresh and different musical suit.

Rey & Kjavik, two guys from the middle of nowhere, who prefer to stay anonymous that make some funky deep house music, sometimes with an edgy darker twist.  It started with there EP 'Wooden Chapter' on Kindisch, Get Physical's sister label, including the track Lora that got recognition by some big names. The next hit 'Animal vs. Beast' was a collaboration with Kevin Iszard and heard in sets from M.A.N.I.K. and Adriatique, who later also made a remix of the track.
