Brian would have been 70 today, three years younger than one of his boyhood heroes, Eric Clapton and, in my totally unbiased opinion, every bit as good.  I always thought he would grow old playing his guitar, singing his favourite songs to all who'd listen, and there would have been plenty that would.  I still wake up expecting him to be there and the realisation that my music King has gone is still as painful as ever.    
Some of you may remember the original version (https://soundcloud.com/mountain-songs/whos-gonna-be-my-king-by-cripple-club-provisional-mix), uploaded a couple of years back.  This new mix from Hans arrived out of the blue and was, as you can imagine, the most wonderful surprise -  Gal and me were just blown away.  All the credit for this 'return' goes to him.  Hope you enjoy it as much as we do.

Wanted to take the opportunity to say the hugest of thanks to everyone that's written to me, or left a comment sending greetings - all have more than  warmed the cockles of the old Reeves heart.  Have been kept away by illness, but hope to be showing my face around a little more in the New Year, all being well.  I intend to respond to every last message, so you may be hearing from me. When I created the music I instantly thought it would suit The Turtle Project`s voice and style so I asked him if he would like to collab! Luckily he said "yes" and here is the result!

The Turtle Project is a lyrical genius! I told him what the song was about and he came up with these lyrics pretty much the same day!!

My huge thanks go to Samy for letting me work on this gorgeous song by Fabrizio De Andre, that he has magically arranged. I fell in love with it the first I heard it, and it was a joy to work with his beautiful instrumentation!
