When two people break up, they realize that they are both to blame for things that go wrong. "Shame on Us" introduces my own break up story and sets the scene for the beginning of the record "From the Factory". 

I dated a guy who was Jamaican and decided to write a song about our miscommunications. The song feels dark and has a sort of 90s "The Cranberries" vibe to it. I personally love the wooden flute and shouting that comes in near the end.
