This is my rendition of Shamankuna Cayari, a traditional medicine song to invoke protective forces. Shamu (come) riri (sprit movement) Shamuan (come) kunay (now) cayari (give).

Yoga Nidra Relaxation

This song was created in the wake of the fires spreading across the entire continent of Australia. At the time of writing this, people were having to evacuate their homes and the area I was living in was engulfed in smoke. These fires continue to devastate the lands of Australia to this day. I feel there is a big call for humanity to wake up and reconnect with the suffering of our Mother Earth and pray for her healing. This is my hope in sharing this song.

This was one of the first songs I wrote after I had emerged from a deep healing process. I felt I had finally come through the other side of a big process I was going through at the time. I also had to move out of my home in the forest back out into the big wide world where I felt I was coming out of hiding.

A healing configuration with the mantra Om Mani Padme Om. The meaning of this mantra is 'the jewel is in the lotus flower' and is used to invoke love and compassion.
