“Jandía” is the breath-taking second single taken from Spanish AFFKT’s upcoming new “The Big Picture” studio album. The LP is set to be released later this summer via Mobilee. For this new single, AFFKT built a striking and dreamlike polyhydric shapes tech-disco cut.   

Captivating music that pays tribute to beautiful Jandía, a peninsula in the south-western part of the island of Fuerteventura (Canary Islands). A nature reserve with gigantic sandy beaches that AFFKT now wants us to visualize through his music. 

“Jandía is a wonderful place I was able to discover after a necessary and unforgettable trip this last summer. The beauty of that unique place deeply inspired me… I believe it perfectly invites everyone to fly, to travelling without moving. Let’s become birds and enjoy the views from up there!” AFFKT attests.  

AFFKT definitively drops a lush and melodic track that is perfectly identified with the core of the entire forthcoming LP. And that's because the new album will bring together all the best feelings and elements of the Spanish producer creativity into one cohesive release. New concepts and styles to deliver everyone some of the energy that needs to be released after a forced pause. ‘The Big Picture’ will be probably his most expansive and multifaceted electronic-driven album to date. 

Last but not least, “Jandía” EP includes a stunning remix by M.E.M.O. as well as another of the main and original titles included in the new album: “Calipso”. To keep us dancing and enjoying music in a fresh and shiny atmosphere!

"With the outmost pleasure we welcome back on our label our true and dear friend 'Max Doblhoff'. This time he presents with his long term friend and musical colleague 'Idd Aziz' a true afro house gem called 'Gombato'. 

Both artists are very well known and masters in Afro House and we are happy to have them on our label. For their fantastic Gombato they asked 'Elias (GER') for a remix and we are also excited to present his musical interpretation within this great EP. 

Elias (GER) an outstanding producer in Afro House with releases on epic labels such as Moe Black etc.. interprets Gombato in his smooth, deeper and more electronic approach. He kicks it off with a punchy but muffled kick and old vinyl recording texture, synth progression and Idd Aziz voice. Weaving gently in a groovy bassline a poignant shaker as well as percussive elements. A fantastic jazzy organ melody complements his track where he improvises on top of this outstanding groove. "

That feeling when you know something is about to end so you enjoy the most out of it? That’s what French DJ and producer Notre Dame delivers with YUMI. 
It’s that last track that’s playing when you look into your best friends eyes and think about the night you’ve just had together. It was heavily supported by Solomun throughout the summer.
Next to the title track we have „Story of My Life“ - dramatic, almost fragile, with a relentless kick at its center that’s encircled by a gentle arp.
And closing off the YUMI EP is „Atom“. Its suspense is building like a Kamikaze fighter approaching their target: slowly at first, but without mercy.

Finally ! This track is a very personal one. It’s a story about our innate need to feel a sense of belonging, finding what can provide us with a sense of purpose and meaning, as we feel a part of something larger than ourselves.

I’ve always been a musician but it sometimes felt like I was still searching for something that would make me whole, a place in my mind where I would have a feeling of fulfillment. A place where I could set a path that would take me to a life of thrills and excitement. This is how it feels today.
