The sound of "Suspire" is a layering of recordings from a big silo, an old meat storage space with parts re-recorded in the vast space of the big freezer hall of Bontelabo (North-Europe's biggest). It is - at the core - the sound of three different room characteristics (mis)treated by an improvising guitarist.

Stephan Meidell is an improvising guitarist and composer from Norway. He resides in Bergen, utilizing the guitar and bass together with preparations, electronics and amplifiers in both sound sculpting, progressive kraut, art rock and electro acoustic music with the bands Cakewalk, The Sweetest Thrill and Krachmacher. 

Meidell is a driving force within the experimental music scene, and is also a music critic and curator for new music.
