Welcome to Anjunadeep Inspirations!

Like so many people in 2020, I started to broaden my musical horizons and properly discovered the Anjunadeep label. Of course, I’d already heard plenty of tracks that had been released on Anjunadeep, but never looked much into the brand behind them. Safe to say, it has been a life changing experience of discovering new artists, events, places and people, with the annual Anjunadeep Explorations event in Albania becoming a special life highlight.

As the Anjuna brand celebrates its 25th birthday this year, people are sharing mixes of their favourite songs from across the lifetime of the various labels; Anjunabeats, Anjunadeep, Anjunadeep Explorations and Anjunachill, I decided to do something myself. But instead of trying to cover all 25 years of the various Anjuna labels, I’ve dedicated this mix to my own Anjunadeep journey over the last 5 years, featuring a selection of my favourite tracks, old and new since discovering the label that have inspired my musical tastes and life as a DJ.

Almost everything featured was released in the last 5 years, between 2020 and 2025. Even with 3 hours, there were still so many tracks and artists that I couldn’t fit in! This mix was recorded during on a weekend break with my family as the sun rose over Nethy, Scotland at 7am. Maybe one day the full video recording will be published somewhere, where you'll see my Labrador pal Riley join me for a few moments!
