Raffaele Rizzi has been hitting all the right spots lately so it was only a matter of time before he had a full release on Deeperfect, so this EP was the perfect candidate. 

&#8220;Open Grave&#8221; stomps and pumps with full force, keeping the arrangement to a clever bare minimum. The tricky bassline rises and falls to the huge momentum caused by the dominant hi-hats, leading up to a siren line that prepares us for the apocalyptic breakdown. 

The title track touches down like a steamroller grinding away, while the sneakiest of riffs creeps in and takes control with carefully planned tension. Meanwhile, an infectious vocal loop and bouncy snare edits add the necessary quirkiness to get things moving even more. Tony Dee&#8217;s interpretation takes a dubbier route with prominent sub bass and more focus on the vocal action, in combination with a more atmospheric rendition of the main riff.

Miguel is back on Deeperfect with his darker take on Tech House, and the opening track sets the mood perfectly: A simple groove, quirky percussion, shuffling drums and dubby sensibilities. 

&#8220;Buenos Aliens&#8221; picks up from there and drops some ultra-pitched-down vocals, while rumbling subs hold things down and let the rising and falling synth line take control effortlessly through cavernous effects and eerie washes. The same goes for Cele&#8217;s interpretation of &#8220;Cielo&#8221;, where a busier rhythm section provides the momentum and dark synth stabs mix with the playful sub bass to create maximum impact.

Label boss Stefano Noferini teams up with Samuel Dan for some heads-down business and a three-track trip to rabbit hole central. 

Kicking off with a rollercoaster bassline, the opener shuffles and grinds via the help of a snappy rhythm section. Hypnotic percussion shifts the focus on the loopiness, only to be interrupted by intricate edits and cavernous effects. &#8220;Dark Passenger&#8221; gives a subtle nod to the tribal sound but adds the menace with synth stabs and garbled electronics, while the laid-back groove provides the perfect backdrop for a sultry vocal snippet. 

Samuel Dan&#8217;s Dark Mix of the original seals the EP with classic analog bass and electronic squelches galore. An assortment of even more vocal edits and psychotic effects all add up for a twisted epilog to this groovy ride.

We are excited to welcome Paride Saraceni to Transmit, and what better way to kicks things off than with Talking where a slowly unravelling vocal steals the show as a rubber-band bassline provides the bounce and streamlined synths set the mood. Wood picks up from there, is more percussion-led and lets the infectious bass do most of the talking while shuffling snares and percussive stabs jack up the momentum.

Simple and yet incredibly powerful, the song is enigmatic in its nature and will surely be a song we'll be hearing in dark warehouses throughout the summer.
