Words were a poem sent to me by David, all guitars and vocals are mine, and the rest of what I call the 'magic' is Gary's..bass, orchestration, choir, thunder etc! Hope you like this final version...Thanks again to David for the words!! Karl

The famous Guernica painting was painted by the Cubist painter in the June of 1937. Its title refers to the city of the same name that was bombed by Nazi planes during the Spanish Civil War, an event that destroyed three-quarters of the ancient town, killing and wounding hundreds of civilians in the process.

For 70 years Huey was a master cobbler and catered for many of the Coronation Street stars from an old workshop in Ashton Under Lyne. The painter LS Lowery was one of his customers!
