This is a song I wrote for the Halloween season about two life size
stone statue lions that come to life at night in a city park and feed on human flesh and blood then go back to being statues before the sun comes up and anyone's the wiser.

Lions In The Park

There were lions in the park
They were waiting until dark
So silent and so still
Soon the blood would spill
Like statues on the grass
Waiting for someone to pass

In the silence of the night
All they need is one good bite
With their saber tooth teeth
They could give you some relief

Lions in the park make their mark now the blood will surely spill

There's a black crow in a tree
Silent watching eagerly
For the Lions they stood still
Hungry waiting for the kill
And the black crow he would dance
Once the Lions took their chance
