‘Set It Off’ is an archetypal demonstration of the trio’s flair for creating depth within a production. Inspired by Strafe’s 1984 electro funk classic on the same name and spanning everything from retro-synths to techy elements the track is a true illustration of their wide musical compass, with an organic sounding guitar reflecting their early roots in punk music. Never ones to rest on their laurels, this cut is a further string to their evermore impressive bow, coming as it does at the tail end of Tuber & Berger’s most triumphant year to date with a momentum they will unquestionably carry on into the next.

Got This Feeling (Original Mix)

Building on the brilliant reception to his debut “Feeling EP” late last year and his fiery remixes of Lancelot and Prides, Meramek aka Oliver Smith dials up the bass on this classy new EP. 

A collaboration with Tropixx, “Only You” is a heady blend of emotive pads and an infectious vocal hook, which, when paired with the serious low-end, packs a massive punch. A stand out moment on our recent "Anjunadeep 06" compilation.

“Bounce” is another bass heavy roller that is built for dancefloor destruction. Tough percussion and ravey stabs make way for a delicate breakdown, filled with atmospheric melodies and textured production. 

Rounding off an exciting EP is “Stepping Stones”,  which is packed with infectious melodies, rolling percussion and another club friendly groove. Accomplished production and musicality shine through in the breakdown yet again, showcasing Olie’s talent for bringing beauty to the dancefloor.

Meramek & Tropixx - Only You

Over the last 18 months, lots of you have kept asking when Sunsets & Dolphins will be released. We're proud of the track and enjoyed making it, but at the same time it has never quite aligned itself with the vision we have for our release plans. When you write music every day, you often end up with tracks that you're pleased with, and even play out sometimes, but that you don't necessarily feel warrant a full release. 

That said, since Disclosure played it in their Essential Mix there's been a lot of love for the track, and numerous requests for it to be released. Coming from a pirate radio/rave tape youth, there was always something about those tracks that existed in isolated, out-of-reach forms... only ever heard on a single tape or sometimes only ever played by a single DJ, who had the only dubplate. 

We're not sure that's even possible any more in the digital age, but as the reaction to Sunsets & Dolphins reminded us of that, we thought it would be fun to cut it to a single dubplate and give it away to one of you. We're not the first to do it, we might not be the last. But hopefully you'll appreciate the sentiment :) Big up as always... We are very proud to present another big upcoming artist from Scandinavia on our imprint. Notize is a 20-year-old producer from the Northern region of Denmark who shines deeply with his “Demons II EP”. Just for clarification, there is not any first part like it could be suspected from the title. It’s an independent and totally new release full of glamour by the vocals of female singer Fura.  The Kittball-Queen of Deep-Tech-House named Juliet Sikora keeps the original vibe with her remix duties but emphasizes the masterpiece with a deep groove putting claps and kicks under subliminal  piano parts.

Anjunadeep mainstay Jody Wisternoff drops "The Bridge feat. Sian Evans", his first single of 2015 following last Autumn's “Paramour”, a stand out single from the iTunes chart topping ‘Anjunadeep 06’ compilation. 

'The Bridge' is a Wisternoff classic, fusing lush melodic arrangements with dancefloor grooves, with a subtle touch of old school UK sound thrown in for good measure. Sian Evans of Kosheen provides ethereal uplifting vocals. 

Shur-i-kan is on remix duties following his Anjunadeep debut 'My Love' which picked up massive Radio 1 support from Pete Tong, Annie Mac and Danny Howard earlier this year. He roughs up the melodic arrangement in favour of a clubbier, more dancefloor focused direction.

Skin Deep

Knowing that he had to tackle both Ibiza residencies and European festival gigs this summer, Doorly hunkered down in his L.A. studio earlier this year and got to work. Since then, he’s enjoyed a robust release schedule marked by a new track practically every week for the last two months. Riding high off his latest EP for Relief, he’s stacking an impressive two-track EP for Toolroom that will surely see him back in the charts. 

“Lustfahrt” has the kind of loose, swung drums and cheeky disco snippets that’ll be perfect for warming up dancefloors this summer, and the twisted synths during the builds have enough energy to make it a notable groover. We tried reaching him ahead of the release next week, but the man’s just played Hideout Festival in Croatia and had to book it back to Sankey’s in Ibiza with a pit stop last night in Dubrovnik; so we’ll let it slide this time.
