After the success of the first A-sides compilation in 2012, Adam Beyer has decided its time to release another. With Adam’s stature steadily growing as one of the leading talents in the Techno scene and the rise of Drumcode, the standard of demo’s that have been sent to Adam have been top notch. Adam has now decided to release two compilations with 10 tracks each, consisting of tracks that Adam has tried and tested. There are also new artists that have been invited to release on Drumcode for this compilation and others who are a staple in Drumcode’s core family. Combining both old and new talents Drumcode have come up with something unique and distinctive to make this two-part compilation something extra special.

Adam Beyer is back on Drumcode with an impressive array of tracks that will get the senses tingling and shows us what Drumcode is all about. These 4 tracks are deep and almost melancholic in their approach to techno, using effects to really help enforce an ambience only Beyer can achieve within his productions. The under lying throbbing of the drums drives this EP into the forefront of the heads down Drumcode sound and have been heard in many of Beyer’s phenomenal sets throughout the year.

Release number 31 from Crazy Nutz Music, titled Pura Vibra, marks a pivotal moment for the Barcelona-based label, both for the refined sonic proposal it delivers and for welcoming two promising international talents: Nic Vasperi and Adrian Mart, who make their debut on the imprint with a club-ready, groove-driven instrumental Tech House piece. The original mix of Pura Vibra stands out for its precise and vibrant tribal percussion, where snares, toms, and rhythmic elements are arranged with clear musical intention to build a flowing cadence. The kick drum, deep and impactful, anchors the groove with authority, while a sleek, sidechained bassline breathes naturally throughout the track, enhancing the pulse without overshadowing the mix. This potent low-end is accompanied by subtle atmospheric textures, including minimal glitches, tasteful delays, filtered effects, and cleverly processed vocal loops layered in the background. Clocking in at a rhythmic 130 BPM, the track is highly functional and versatile, easily fitting both peak-time energy and more refined or progressive moments in a DJ set. Nic Vasperi, a Colombian DJ and producer based in Madrid, brings his Latin roots to the forefront of a modern Tech House aesthetic, blending percussive warmth with minimalist sonic elegance. Currently a resident at the iconic Space of Sound event in Spain, his music has received support from global heavyweights such as Marco Carola, Jamie Jones, Chris Lake, Latmun, and Paco Osuna. His discography includes releases on top-tier labels like CUFF, Stereo Productions, Safe Music, Overtones, and Material Series, and he continues to shape his career with monthly releases that reflect both consistency and artistic evolution. Adrian Mart, a Madrid-born DJ and producer active since 2012, complements the track with his deep understanding of groove and rhythmic dynamics. As the founder of Kappa Recordings and resident of the KAPPA party in Madrid, he has built a strong presence in the national scene. His sound merges garage, hip hop, funk, and minimal house into a powerful Tech House blend, resulting in a musical identity that is distinctive and effective on the dancefloor. Adrian has released music on respected labels such as And Dance, Kook, Space Of Sounds, CUFF, Under No Illusion, VIVa LIMITED, AS SONE, and NastyFunk, drawing attention from top-tier artists and reinforcing his global projection. Their collaboration on Pura Vibra is enriched by two remixes from key figures within the Crazy Nutz Music family. Label director Arnau Ariza contributes a remix that leans into club dynamics, with progressive layering and a relentless groove ideal for dark, underground dancefloors. Meanwhile, Juli De Alonso, a seasoned DJ and A&R talent scout for the label, presents a version that stays true to the originals soul while infusing his own signature balance of atmosphere, groove, and minimal elegance. Loco & Jam have quickly climbed the ranks of the global techno scene, proving with release after release that they’re hard-hitting and twisted production style is a force to be reckoned with.  Frankyeffe’s productions are razor sharp and filled with creative motifs that make him a standout of Italian techno.  So what happens when they get in the studio together?  The aptly named Splitting Minds EP. 

Both tracks thump with the relentless rhythms these guys have been known for creating, but they employ a fair amount of distinctly musical material, maybe more than you’d expect.  Gigantic synth swells and melodic, arpy builds interspersed between battering breakdowns put this release squarely between techno and progressive, creating an intense synthesis.  Don’t call it uplifting, Splitting Minds is dark and twisted to be sure, but one will find beauty in the madness.
