I thought that I could be beautiful
Who do you think that you are these days
You may feel different but you’ve got the same face

He somehow made me invincible 
Funny how he gets to take that away,
While I pick apart all the scars he engraved

You hid the way you felt,
Sitting on your Grey couch
You put the blame on this thing I can’t change,
That made me hate myself

You should have spoken up
I could have chosen to open the cut but
If we gave it air,
Then it’s there,
I was just scared that you didn’t care
