The Gulbenkian Summer Garden represents inclusion, but above all it is a place of crossing and sharing according to Dino D' Santiago, the official curator of the event, and in this edition, we were part of the repertoire of artists toasting to our dear listeners a live set that represents the whole Essence of the event. A live set loaded with its own identity that welcomes culture and history, making everyone dance and connect through the purest matter - music.

Oh! The freshness of nature, the charm of organic sounds, the beauty of diversity. The Brazilian lands are blessed and people who live here can enjoy the gems that are found. The best part of it is when some of these fragments serve as inspiration and are combined in a single piece of art made by talents that are born, raised and flourished here. 

Cocada has the pleasure of receiving on its third release the Brazilian artist, Mezomo, an exponent of the underground region of the country's south who traces an alternative way and seeks the excellence and singularity in his works. This release is just a preview of what is coming in May, an EP of five originals and two remixes.  

For "Novo Dia", Mezomo builds his puzzle with few pieces and reveals a beautiful sound landscape, mixing his identity of organic sounds with songs from Umbanda, a religion originated here in Brazil, making this union a delicious Afro House track. 

With him, there's nothing better than one of the biggest names of the movement: Floyd Lavine. In front of RISE and Nomadiq Music, the artist born and raised in South Africa has used all his expertise to this remix, he bet on stronger grooves and brought new organic elements to accompany the Umbanda vocals from Dri Reigado, recorded exclusively for this track. 

The purpose of this album is to emanate positive vibes and serve as a genuine soundtrack to celebrate the beauties of life, balancing your mental, physical and spiritual energy. So just let your body float, follow the rhythm of the percussions and feel how the music has an incredible healing power, as the chorus says: “A new day will shine” and we will continue with the hope of better times without ever stop dancing.
