Flowers is the title track from Flowers, the debut album of the band Staithe.

Staithe, the atmospheric musical duo of Bridie Jackson and Nick Pierce, released their highly anticipated debut album, Flowers, on 15th May 2025. 

A deeply personal and confessional body of work, Flowers showcases Staithe’s distinctive fusion of genres, drawing from classical, folk, and minimalist electronica, whilst inviting listeners into their immersive sound world—one of honesty, melancholy, hope and quiet resilience.

Entirely self-produced and recorded at their home in Newcastle-upon-Tyne during the winter of 2024, the album embodies the experimental, DIY nature of this constantly evolving musical project. “The thing we most loved about making this album and the Staithe project in general, is the ongoing invitation it offers us for curiosity and development, which as artists, is so important to have an outlet for” says Staithe. “The process has been deeply satisfying and creative for us, and it’s a constant reminder that the making of music brings its own reward, and anything after that is a bonus”

This is the second single from my debut EP, Other Faith, which is out on the 9th May. It’s a song about the space between love and loss.  Produced, mixed and mastered by Gus White at The Barn.
