Hey Folks, today we share the wonderful podcast signed by Second Section. 

David Maurer (aka Second Section) is an Austrian-born DJ & producer and was already musically influenced as a child. At the age of 9 he showed enormous enthusiasm for the piano and is still playing it. He developed his passion for electronic music shortly after his 16th birthday. Dave has been very active in the drum & bass / jungle scene for 10 years now. He is known for his dedication to autonomic, minimal, atmospheric and breaky bits. His style has already inspired people in locations & festivals such as Membrain Festival, Noise Test, Grelle Forelle Wien, Fluc Wien, Flex Wien, Dachsbau Innsbruck, Rockhouse Salzburg, Stadtwerkstatt Linz, LOCO Soundclub Villach, Sakog Kulturwerk, Bunker Graz & many more.. He is also A&R for the P LAB Recordings label & resident at their well-known events. The love for ambient music, downtempo, deep cinematic soundscapes and organic textures started a few years ago.

Rene Lorenzo is a Dj and an electronic music producer.
His music focuses on deep, hypnotic sounds, intriguing melodies, and random textured rhythms.
Deep Techno, Ambient or Downtempo are the sounds that most define his productions.
His musical background has led him to develop his own sound and to publish music on different labels in the electronic scene and on his Celluar Memory label.

Step by step the level of hypnosis was such that, without realising it, they had crossed the event horizon. Like a black hole, it captured them and they enjoyed it".

Faru - "A moment of stillness"

Inspired by the documentary In Pursuit of Silence, I got encouraged to reflect on my relationship with silence and its role.
The mix is designed to evoke a similar sense of contemplation and reflection, offering a space for the listener to disconnect from the noise and distractions of everyday life and embrace the beauty of silence.
While absolute silence may be an ideal or a theoretical concept, in practical terms, it is not attainable or even necessarily desirable.
Each track blends seamlessly into the next, creating a cohesive and immersive experience that encourages the listener to let go of their thoughts and be present at the moment. I hope to offer a meditative and immersive listening experience to reconnect to the power of stillness.

CAMA03 seamlessly navigates and transcends a spectrum encompassing techno, breaks, experimental, and ambient music in his sets. His adept handling of smooth mixing, powerful emotional narratives, and an instinctive grasp of dancefloor dynamics continue to define his style, seamlessly cruising through the early morning to tardy hours of the night.
In this particular mix, CAMA03 explores the ambient dimension of his musical spectrum. This introspective blend features ethereal soundscapes and liquid drones, creating an ideal soundtrack for various mental journeys.

IS Special 012 - Jamie McCue [Silent Season]

For this second round, I'm very proud to invite an artist I have the deepest respect for : Martin Goodwin.
Martin is a producer from Tours (France). His music is influenced by the love of nature, life and contemplation. His album "Hearth", released on the wonderful canadian imprint Silent Season, was one of my really fav of the year, and is such a stellar sparkle in the heart of the most beautiful starry night.

"The artwork is a drone shot made by my friend and partner Romain Philippe. It shows a little piece of heaven which describes a recurring theme in a work I've been trying to develop for years. I call it psychedelic beach. With sound an image working together I'll be able to form a coherent path for the deepest search in my music journey so far, no matter how long that will take.
The last track in the podcast represents this vibe and I am actually working on a complete album of this kind which should be finished in a few months."

Alchemical

An organism glows
in this dark, dark room.
The light finds the cracks
in the walls

and stretches its languid arms
to enclose us, to hold us
against its vital pulse.
Tethered to a vibration

both familiar and unknown,
we are sent towards
a portal before
we are spit back into day—

kept close
until the night is done.
The heartbeat of the creature
then dissipates like cloud,

is alchemically transformed,
shifts shapes
like the shadow of fire
then finds its way

into our chests.
We carry our secrets
within them like lead,
lead that wants to be turned

into gold. It’s only a matter
of time before our chests
are unlocked.
When we open

each other up,
what’s underneath
spills out, and it is then
that we remember the pulse

never left – it only
hid itself beneath
our wrists, our lungs.
By the end we’ve lost the map

and know there’s no way back:
the person we were before
succumbs to the person
we’ve become.

Inhmost is one of the monikers of S.Huxtable who wanted a representation for the more ambient and downtempo works that he creates which would allow the freedom of expression within these genres.

The goal of the Inhmost sound is to blend deep atmospheric feelings and organic nature that combine into a dreamlike state of mind that come straight from the heart.  The intention is that whilst listening to the music the listener is transported to calmer places of beauty and of light and shade.

Inhmost 는 앰비언트와 다운템포의 장르적 범주에서 자유로운 표현을 지향하는 S.Huxtable 의 또 다른 이름이다. Inhmost 사운드의 목적은 깊은 대기적 감정들과 유기적 자연을 섞어내어 마음에서 우러나오는 꿈과도 같은 정신으로 결합하는 것이다. 
그 의도는 음악을 듣는동안 청자들이 아름다움, 그리고 빛과 어둠의 고요한 공간으로 이동하기를 위한 것이다.
