A track 6+ years in the making. A moody break-up song filled with Step Rocket's approved marimbas was found on our producer's hard drive during the Future Nature sessions in 2016. It made the rounds at Humans Win! studio in NE Minneapolis and was lost again to the ether. The quarantine gave us ample time to rediscover and resurrect this old favorite. Mostly driven by synths compared to other Step Rockets tunes, Brady Grey Lillie, the lead guitarist, punctuates the songs with flowing R&B licks turned up to 11. Josh, the vocalist, provides an expressive range of melodies that outline a desperate "good-bye" situation. John lays down a thick groove of thunder with a tom tom heavy choruses mixed in with syncopated and fresh rock grooves. The track was produced by the one and only Lance Conrad, a LA music mogul in the making in cohorts with his longtime friend and artist Lissie.
