Fire in City Streets

Stereo Child is a creative fusion of Indy Folk Rock & Baroque Pop that lifts you into a unique, inspirational experience. StereoChild was formed as a melodic trio in the late summer of 2009 showcasing Greg McKnight on keys and Lisa Clough on violin in support of the acoustical arrangements of songwriter, Christian Ross. Immediately, the trio began writing, recording and evolving slowly toward the current sound the band inhabits today. 

By the summer of 2010, the band was well on their way with the arriving performance opportunity of the Visionary Awards Show for the Christian Music Hall of Fame scheduled for November of the same year. Long time friend band mate of Christian Ross, Pete Bixby, was added to the line up as the much needed bass guitarist filling the missing piece of the evolved foursome that was then featuring John Allnutt, a seasoned player and SMU instructor, on drums.

The band was quick to realize the songwriting and vocal talents of Pete Bixby and added him as the second writer, guitarists and vocalist of the band. With Christian and Pete's musical history of over 8 years together, the creative writing and vocal stylings together has launched the band into great new heights of the vast musical stratosphere. 

Today, StereoChild features six outstanding players boasting a new and unique sound that only they themselves, together, can produce. With the well acclaimed Fire in City Streets EP under their belt, the band is now writing and recording for their debut full length album due to be engineered by industry veteran, Steve Garrett at the Sound Factory Studio, and released sometime in the summer of 2012.
