Flowers Of Evil is a perfect example of sophisticated electronic music in 2022 with complex chords and harmonising counter melodies. It's a song that can talk about love, and shines on the dance floor.

Stephan’s offering of these hugely atmospheric, peak-time rollers is superb. This is classy music that makes an indelible mark.'

IN MEMORY

"Time" – A journey built on intention, dynamics, and a deliberate climb toward euphoria. I believe this is some of my best production work to date, where every sound was chosen to complement the whole.

The track is a slow, steady build—an intentional invitation to settle into its world. Distant arpeggios give way to vocal chops and "live" automations that make the structure feel dynamic and alive.

The pivotal moment arrives with the spoken word. A key change shifts the emotional ground, as guitar-like plucks evolve into a simple melody, supporting a chord progression that swells with synths and opening pads. A bar of silence hangs on a single word: "Time."

From there, the philosophy unfolds: the drop is not an end, but a new beginning. The energy rebuilds, shifting focus between arpeggiating synths and a driving bassline, climbing once more before resolving into a final, percussive groove.

It all dims down, leaving one last echo of the central idea. This track is my most considered exploration of tension, release, and the currency we all share.

An inspired collaboration which delivers more than the sum of its parts.

Innellea and Kevin De Vries have both broken through in the past couple of years, pushing distinctive, high-energy sounds for the floor. On the ‘Hoffnungsschimmer’ EP, the colourful tones of Innellea’s synth work and Kevin’s hard-hitting drama are a perfect match, resulting in three diverse and unique creations. ‘Das Licht’ and ‘Mondfinsternis’ are both euphoric, peak-time efforts full of stirring elements and forward motion. The title track’s more downtempo atmosphere and breakbeats balance the EP into a rounded whole.
