My name is Steph and my DJ name is Steph Who?

I chose to go by “Steph Who?” because most of my life people have called me “Stephanie,” but within the past few years I’ve realized that “Steph” feels so much more like ME. Going by a nickname I once hated was an adjustment for a lot of people in my life, kind of more than me coming out as nonbinary lol, hence the “Who?”

Hometown:
Bloomfield Hills, MI

DJ Inspiration:
Aaron Carl, horsegiirL, Sara Landry, Peggy Gou, SOPHIE, as well as my partner Rob (@dj_herboyfriend) and our friend Billy (@billywinters)! I’ve seen/listened to more sets from Rob and Billy than anyone else and I wouldn’t have it any other way.

Other interests:
Liberation for ALL ☮️If I’m on my phone it’s because I’m watching my TikTok fyp (the algorithm is perf), looking at memes on IG or reading manga. I am such a big Stardew Valley fan that I have it on every device (laptop, iPad, phone, and Nintendo Switch).

Random Fun Fact:
I own every Sims 4 expansion pack and I have spent over 2000
hours playing it since it was released in 2014 ☮️

Tell us about your mix:
I really wanted to make a mix where you can get sweaty and just go nuts on the dance floor without caring what people think. As someone who struggled with my gender identity for most of my life, I have a hard time turning off the little voice in my head that tells me people won’t take me seriously because I’m not a man or that I shouldn’t be vocal about my gender identity or sexuality because of hatred and bigotry. This mix helps me turn off that little voice and I hope it can do that for others as well!!!! ☮️

I cannot separate the art from the artist nor would I want to!!! I wish this wasn’t a hot take but it seems to be☮️☮️
