In 2013, Darryl McCarty released his solo album: The Speed Of Light.  The success of that album ignited a spark within Darryl and spawned the need for a band which would become known as The Stereo Division.

After a couple of years of writing and playing together, in 2016 the newly-formed group released their first album, Love Is In Motion.  A collection of 12 songs that long-time followers of Darryl’s work will recognize as a significant musical progression in his song writing.

“I wanted to do something different,” explains Darryl, “and I couldn’t be happier with how that album turned out.”

Then in 2018, the band released Signs which, from the addition of synths to the highly personal lyrics, is engaging both musically and lyrically and is easily the band’s most mature body of work to date.

Having shared the stage with the likes of Andy Stochansky, Greg Keelor (of Blue Rodeo) and Repartee, as well as having had numerous TV placements, The Stereo Division are poised to become one of Canada's next indie darlings.

The Stereo Division are Darryl McCarty on guitar/lead vocals, Marc Teghrarian on guitar/backing vocals, Tam Duong on bass, and Brad McNeil on drums.
