"Magazine" is the lead single off of Alyse Dreamhouse's upcoming LP, Body Mess, due out by the end of September. This remix by theJLM is his first release in years as he continues working on his own upcoming album. It marks the latest collaboration between the artists, who met in the Brooklyn indie/DIY music scene years ago when their previous bands played together. Over the years, theJLM booked Alyse's projects on several shows around NYC, including at his own space, Fort Useless. He also interviewed her and featured her music in previous podcast and newsletter projects.

"Attempted Cultural Figure" hints at the unfortunately too familiar story of someone who makes a go at becoming a known personality in the digital age and ultimately finds the most success by leaning toward a toxic right wing ideology. In addition to the single, there is a radio edit and an extended version that expands the sonic landscape of the original. 

Meanwhile, "Comes a Time" serves as a call to action to stand against the darkness on the rise in the world before it's too late.
