This is a hybrid bassdrum I made from two 808 and 909 samples 

My goal was to create a kick that combines the best of both worlds – the rich sub bass ooomph of the 808, and the powerful transient of the 909, which cuts through the mix much better than a soft 808.

I first used this kick on my 2020 Bedrock release "Burn Your Love" – check it out!

He began his adventure with mixing over 20 years ago. Most notably associated with the Wroclaw club "Drogi do Mekki," where he co-organized the iconic event series "Stay Dirty." A former member of duo Sonic Saturation, he toured all major clubs in Poland and released music both domestically and internationally (including Camino Blue/DE, Strictly Digital/UK, @mav/NL, @absysrecords/IRL, Requiem Rec, Silcence!, MyHouse, Impact Studio, Mekka Tunes/PL). Co-author of the first Polish drum and bass vinyl.
After a decade-long absence from the scene, he's checking whether it's possible to step into the same river twice. Musically, he continues to explore the aesthetics of house, venturing into its more alternative branches.

COEO are to Toy Tonics records, what Master at Work were to the House scene of the 1990ies: They bring the Soul into the House. Their new EP "Back In The Days" is a 4 track  house stomper that could have been made in 1997 by guys like Sneak, Dimitri from Paris or Little Louie. But still the similarities to the new Berlin Sample- House scene around Max Graef and Hodini are evident, too. Already their last years' superhit NATIVE RIDDIM included some heavy jazz samples they found in their parents' bag of soul. Native Riddim has been no.1 in the Traxsource charts for several weeks and was the basis for their already huge following. From Laurent Garnier to Tensnake - the feedback has been awesome. Now they proceed their way of soulful house. Just good taste.

The Toy Tonics crew is known for being addicted to two things: vintage music machines and old vinyl. 100% music aficionados. On the „Tonic Edits“ series the crew shares some of their favorite old tracks - in a reworked version. 
This time COEO get back in time. They destroyed a couple of 1970ies disco jams. Recut & repasted them. And gave them their special COEO touch. Of course it’s irresistible! 
This release comes on vinyl only first. Later maybe could be out on selected Digital sellers.. not sure yet.
