Throughout his relatively short career in solo (His contribution to house duet Twice Movement started in 2015) ,  Groovence’s Head Moonee (real name François Lefevre) has delivered some top shelf contributions over the last years, appearances like his debut track on Groovence last year « Faith & Sorrow » and an official remix for Sweely’s banger « Gotta Keep On » in 2020.

This debut EP was composed at home between 2019 and 2020, as time was flying during the first covid lockdown.
With most daily constraints gone, Moonee had time to plug in his MPCs and finish this batch of tracks. Blending contemporary and classic deep house, the EP draws inspiration from artists such as Mr.G, Dj Q, Linkwood or Theo Parrish.

We are thrilled to announce our 5th vinyl VA. This time with only Belgian Underground artists. All friends and amigos who met each other during their journey in the Belgian music scene over the years.
A diverse ensemble spanning the House-spectrum, on the A-side we take a more deep and funky approach with UC Beatz bringing his known groovy flavours. Followed by Rawdio with some piano house vibes and bendrik keeping it fresh and crispy as always.
The B-side takes a more clubby turn with Deeleegenz dropping the snares and shuffled percussion in his Deep Jackin tune. Followed by Max Telaer who shows a darker side from himself with an absolute stomper that will set fire to the dancefloor.

Montreal-based DJ and producer Jares is set to release his upcoming Nightcall EP on Sasha Carassis ILINX imprint. Known for blending ethereal, orchestral, and progressive sounds, Jares aims to create an inner state of euphoria and mindfulness through his music. The title track unfolds with an energetic and dynamic structure, driven by pulsating beats and an evolving rhythmic intensity. The composition builds a sense of movement and urgency, eventually giving way to a deeply atmospheric melodic break. This section introduces a dreamy ambiance that contrasts with the earlier intensity, allowing the listener to immerse themselves in a moment of emotional depth. A haunting vocal line weaves through the melody, adding a human touch that enhances the tracks expressive quality. Tommy Js version of Nightcall presents a distinct percussive-driven vision, where rhythmic elements take center stage. From the very beginning, the track is infused with intricate drum patterns and deep, resonant kicks that establish a hypnotic groove. Layers of organic and electronic percussion intertwine, creating a dynamic flow that keeps the energy pulsing throughout. Despite its rhythmic intensity, the track maintains a sense of balance, allowing space for subtle melodic elements to emerge.
