In a debut EP that transcends genre boundaries, Seta Loto guides us through the soundscapes of 'Earth-Related System’ forthcoming on the Lyon-based label Comic Sans. With a sophisticated fusion of minimal bass, atmospheric and UK-style techno, dub and dancehall, each of the five tracks develops its own ecosystem, distorted by alterations of reality as if on psychedelics.

Delving into the concept of a sound infrastructure, the artist lays its foundation in the earth as the primary element. An intangible low-end drifts over the surface of the sound, unceasingly creating an intense, enveloping atmosphere reminiscent of tectonic shifts. Above, organic textures manipulated by cutting-edge sound design techniques and clever re-sampling work neatly share the remaining sonic environment.

Seta Loto's creations resonate with a spiritual essence, evoking an intimate relationship with the wonders of nature and rootedness to the earth.

"Delphæ" is our 4th iteration of a series that started in 2022 and allows each De la...je l'espère resident to take the lead in curating a compilation, inviting artists of their choice.

This V/A is a direct continuation of Fatale Furylax's commitment to promoting people who are underrepresented in today's electronic music scene, which is why she decided to invite only women and producers from gender minorities.

It brings together artists who have inspired and influenced her musically, with a bass, breakbeat, textural and ambient aesthetic.

In a distant world, there existed an endless river of cosmic, metallic fluid known as 'Exonda'. This river, normally serene, was moved to overflowing by the wrath of an alien god. Angered by the inhabitants' advanced technology, the god unleashed their fury, causing 'Exonda' to surge through the planet with unstoppable force. The river plunged the world into turmoil, its energy and chaos echoing through the rhythmic dexterity of Ruff Cherry's latest work.

At last, a collection of best-kept unreleased tracks from one of our most prolific artists is emerging as a 5-track collection, 'Exonda EP'—unannounced but unsurprisingly solid in its delivery. Ruff Cherry returns to Midgar to inaugurate our new digital side catalogue, where artists will focus on their strongest club-oriented cuts. These releases will bridge the gaps between our physical records, keeping a continuous flow of music during otherwise quieter months.

STGZ001 Discobasis - Said the Light

For the first release on Stock Grazing, Ngunnawal/Canberra-based sound designer, Discobasis, crafts an impressive collection of deep-listening tracks for his debut along with a feature from multidisciplinary artist, umki.

Drawing influence from muggy ambient and dub tones, Said the Light seeks further hypnosis, descending into abyssal depths. Across each sombre soundscape, Discobasis carefully weaves organic textures with sharp glitches. Despite their apparent discord, these elements intertwine and dance with an eerie harmony, luring listeners into the uncharted. The fractured rhythms force a desultory march, each kick demanding attention as it grates against the senses. It’s a visceral experience, where tension rises and lingers, offering subtle rewards to those willing to lean in.

STGZ001 Discobasis - Said the Light (preview)

Priori’s hit EP Pareidolia gets a well deserved remix treatment. The relation between Priori and Midgar started early 2023 with the release of his Pareidolia EP, where a remix for Keplrr followed quickly the year after. Now, early 2025, a group of close friends and admired artists were invited to rework the Pareidolia’s originals.

Midgar affiliate Forest Drive West uses the opportunity to present not one but two remixes. Presenting one half-time 85 bpm twist of Hazard and another slow-paced murky techno groover. Originally from Montreal, Maara forms the Canadian connection and she turns Memory Palace into a beautiful bouncy dub-techno floater. Sound experimentalist Notte Infinita takes his turn on Pareidolia’s title track and creates some magnificent eyes-closed drum & bass hypnotism. At last, Amsterdam’s upsammy brings back the light with her iconic playful approach. She flips the steady groove of Glass Shards into a jumpy interplay of rhythms and joy.

À la croisée des chemins entre transe tribale et techno incantatoire, cet EP invoque l’énergie des forêts anciennes et des créatures oubliées. Tambours battants, textures enchantées et pulsations gobelines façonnent un monde où la danse devient rite. Cette traversée musicale est le résultat d’une intention claire, façonnée avec une exigence quasi alchimique. Deux remixes prolongent l’exploration avec Blume qui propose une version hypnotique et vaporeuse, tandis que Forest révèle une face plus incandescente et tellurique. Peregrination is a ritual incantation, a mystical quest orchestrated by Drawbridge. At the crossroads between tribal trance and incantatory techno, this EP invokes the energy of ancient forests and forgotten creatures. Beating drums, enchanted textures and goblin pulses shape a world where dance becomes ceremony. This musical adventure is the result of a clear intention, crafted with an alchemical precision. Two remixes extend the exploration with Blume offering a hypnotic and steamy version, while Forest reveals a more incandescent and telluric aspect. An initiation journey for those ready to cross the threshold.
