Like trudging through viscous air, I Lost All My Data is a blissed-out barrage of sub-bass that nods to a long-lasting passion for sound system culture.

Uploading turbo-charged wubs with molten glass melodies, the debut EP of Giovanni Bonelli (aka @notteinfinita) is a welcomed update for UK style broken-techno conventions. Booting-up with its title track, the record quadrisects the fabric of digital music, each cut a sonic reprogramming of its predecessor. ‘Slippery Tuff’ references off-kilter club, while on the flip, ‘Ecstatic Dub (Roller Mix)’ climaxes in an ultra-sensory faux-organic whorl. Unplugging the whole thang, ‘Oxygen’ manipulates post-dubstep textures, into a data-roused jungle tunnel.

We’re thrilled to welcome back @konalgad to Dance Data, this time with his debut LP, “Club Dream”. Spread across two discs for maximum fidelity, this is sound system music with grooves primed for mixing and dialed-to-a-tee bass weight, but hovering above the grounded structures are fleeting rhythmic textures that veer things off into a world worth getting lost in. Throughout its 11 tracks, “Club Dream” plays out like a full mix, ebbing and flowing through a variety of energy levels and moods. Some of the range you’ll find here includes half-time dream-step, peak time pulses, and dubbed out mid-tempo tech, all done with a cohesive restraint and appreciation of atmosphere. The record imparts it’s own kind of dance floor dream logic onto the listener, inviting us to let go of making sense of things and trust in its fuzzy logic.

Konalgad - Club Dream LP (DDR006)

Priori’s hit EP Pareidolia gets a well deserved remix treatment. The relation between Priori and Midgar started early 2023 with the release of his Pareidolia EP, where a remix for Keplrr followed quickly the year after. Now, early 2025, a group of close friends and admired artists were invited to rework the Pareidolia’s originals.

Midgar affiliate Forest Drive West uses the opportunity to present not one but two remixes. Presenting one half-time 85 bpm twist of Hazard and another slow-paced murky techno groover. Originally from Montreal, Maara forms the Canadian connection and she turns Memory Palace into a beautiful bouncy dub-techno floater. Sound experimentalist Notte Infinita takes his turn on Pareidolia’s title track and creates some magnificent eyes-closed drum & bass hypnotism. At last, Amsterdam’s upsammy brings back the light with her iconic playful approach. She flips the steady groove of Glass Shards into a jumpy interplay of rhythms and joy.

Somewhere between deconstructed bass music, organic ambient, deviant dub and experimental textures, they sculpt an unpredictable sound, shot through with troubled pulsations, rough grains and distant echoes.
Their music unfolds like an abstract landscape made up of contrasts, field recordings, sound design, polyrhythms and silences that interweave to compose an immersive narrative, unique to each performance - a constantly evolving sonic cartography.
