Energetic grooves, funky synths and kick-ass percussions. Feel intrigued yet? We know it’s been a challenging year, but we will not be stopped from doing what we do best. Releasing music that gives us butterflies. And who better to set us off into the spring than our very own Mitch Dodge, hailing from beautiful San Diego? He is already a familiar face on SNOE, so all we really want to say is how excited we were when we got these phenomenal tunes in our inbox. 

Short and fierce, “Tell Me” leaves nothing to coincidence. In true Mitch-stye, the track is fresh and bodacious with the groove driving us forwards along an enthralling and dirty bassline. Secondly, “Keep Doing” gives us an acid inspired and naughty synth accompanied by rolling drums, keeping the mood vivid and positive. 

Aand it is spring, so of course we had to invite our favourite joker Cascandy to put his own twist on the release. And he did not disappoint. The Cascandy remix of “Keep Doin” is just how we love it, surprising, indefinable and immensely upbeat. Quirky and weird synths join elements from the original and an infatuating groove keeps us dancing along his little journey into Cascandy-land. This whole release leaves us bathed in sweat and endorphins.

After a significant time out for the Four To The Floor brand due to a lack of open dance floors, we have decided to resume the series as an emblem of hope.

Four tracks that carry the sense of longing for the dance floors and the weight of the desire for reunion that has been building up within so many of us.

FTTF18 opens up with Bionick Amisi & Bob The Groove and their „Was It“ - an emotional Melodic House track that has been present in Solomun’s sets before the start of the pandemic. Next is Simon Mós with „Say Something“, a melancholic Microhouse track that features the heartbreaking voice of Curtis James.

Track 3 is „Shadow Dance“ by Eynka wonderful breakbeat symphony laden with moving vocal samples. And closing off the FTTF18 is „Clubs No More“ by Middle Sky Boom, a hypnotic tune that circles your head like a thought you can’t let go - the perfect parable for a DJs mind in lockdown.

After few years Novakk returns to Sincopat with a 4 original track mini album plus
a great remix by Armonica, this release is called Bridges, bridges that unite the 
different music styles that constitute it.
Opening the EP we find Digital Anxiety, an allusion to the social networks that 
have enslaved us and exposed us to the world, with no possibility of escape, 
sometimes leading us to personal bewilderment. We are addicted to this frenzy, 
like the feeling of listening to tracks like this one, which turns us into frenzied 
fireflies duped by the city lights.
We are the future speaks about the current transition we are going through and 
about our increasing dependence on technology. 
Inspired by the Italian-disco sound, with an acid  bassline, an arpeggio and pads 
like video game sounds the track has a futuristic touch, which turn it into an 
explosion of flavours for the dance floor, while a robotic vocal announces us that 
we will be the machines' prey.  
The German duo Armonica takes the helm of the ship with a more indie version 
for the remix of We are the future, loaded with more acoustic textures and 
percussions but without losing the futuristic and retro essence of the original 
track. 
The album's third original Prosopagnosia envelops us in a dark blanket of rhythm.
Metallic elements in the percussions and tremolos in the toms that hit us without 
contemplation until we get into the eye of the hurricane. A musical whirlwind that 
leaves us unable to recognize the faces of those around us.
A good closing will always be remembered, that's why we leave Feel for the end. 
Influenced by the industrial electronica of London in the 2000s, this track leads us 
through a labyrinth of emotions that make us show ourselves to the world as we 
really are, pure feeling. 3.38 min of sonic pleasure with an extended mix for those 
who venture to play it.

Timeless Moment is proud to have the French star Rafael Cerato back into the label, this time in collaboration with Antony Toga and the beautiful vocals of Thomas Gandey, in the title single ‘Freedom’.   

“Freedom” is an astonishing production from the trio above, with a very strong pumping bass line and a pure dance floor hypnotic groove. The track specially shines with its amazing trance like ambience and the dark vocals of Thomas Gandey on top of it, making it a true masterpiece. 

Label boss Morttagua brings the first remix work for “Freedom” with a total progressive techno powerhouse for that peak time main stage climax. A rolling bass line is accompanied by dark harmonies and a brand new melodic riff that peaks right at the drop. Genius like sound design and precise usage of the original mix ambiences makes this remix a pure dance hit. 

Finishing off this amazing EP we welcome our favorite resident producers Uncloak back to the label to remix ‘Freedom”.  After one year hiatus from releasing music, Uncloak makes a huge comeback, producing a pure melodic techno peace of art. Rafael Cerato & Antony Toga - Freedom ft. Thomas Gandey (Uncloak Remix) [Timeless Moment]

Over the past decade, Egyptian-born, Barcelona-based DJ and techno producer Raxon, known to friends and family as Ahmed Raxon, has popped out a steady stream of twelve-inch singles, precision-tooled, for labels like Cocoon, Drumcode, Diynamic, Truesoul, and Ellum Audio. An alumni of Kompakt’s Speicher series – check the insistent, vibrating pulses of “The Ancient” and “Dark Light” on 2019’s Speicher 107 – with Sound Of Mind, Raxon has produced a long-awaited debut album that’s ready and aching both for the dancefloor and the boudoir, traversing the heat of the club and the warmth of the home.

“The idea of an album has always floated around in my head for the past few years,” Raxon confirms, “but it was never the right moment in my mind.” Instead, he’s been insistently pursuing his vision of deep, elegant techno, taking him from early DJ gigs in Dubai, including the legendary audio tonic night, then relocating to Europe on the recommendation of Herman Cattaneo, all the while allowing his experiences to inform and transmute his producer’s thumbprint. He’s an architect by training (though he gave architecture up for electronic music), which might explain why Raxon productions are so sturdy and well-designed; but remember also that architecture is a field filled with brave experimentation, something Raxon definitely draws on throughout Sound Of Mind.

Like many albums from the past twelve months, Raxon’s debut developed partly thanks to the unique social situation the planet has found itself caught within. “In the beginning of 2020 I started working on a few tracks with the album in mind,” he recalls, “with no idea of what’s to come in the next few months. As catastrophic as the situation was/is, I found myself in the studio; in a way the lockdown gave me that creative freedom in the studio, [to] try to tell my story through sound.” And indeed, there is something in the way of ‘life writing’ about Sound Of Mind, particularly in the way Raxon’s productions pay subtle homage, perhaps, to his formative listening experiences in the late nineties.

It’s no retro trip, but there’s plenty of variety here, and a few moments that’ll tickle the collective memory – see the prowling pulsations of the opening “Majestic”, the alien breakbeat action of “Vice” and “Journey Mode”, where the interstellar tones feel like Foul Play or Steve Gurley, the leaking gas and woozy keys that make “Droid Solo” so subtly destabilising, or the strobelight drones that sputter and flare throughout “El Multiverse”, where dappled organ tones fight it out with interdimensional transmissions, all sucked into the vortex of a late-night techno mantra. Beautifully sculpted, Sound Of Mind feels consummate, an elegant set that pulls Raxon’s vision into its sharpest focus. Alive with possibilities, it’s a fever dream of creativity.

We are thrilled to welcome two artists we have long admired to mobilee, for a very special collaboration - Blaktone & Florian Kruse. Berlin’s Florian Kruse has been in the game a long time, releasing on Anjunadeep, Last Night On Earth, Kompakt and now (how?) for the very first time, mobilee. Similarly, Blaktone too have forged his own path through the melodic landscape, hailing from St. Petersburg, the duo have records on Bedrock and Sincopat amongst others.

Kicking off their meeting of minds, “Supernova” is a strong, deep groover, where solid sounds have their own space to shine and contribute to this fierce creation which features a unique vocal story from Joplyn that rightly so, leads the story of this track.

Next up, “Muscida” is no less powerful, but on a different tip. This time synths tell the winding tale that is sure to move the limbs of any listener.

We are gifted with 3 tracks on this stellar EP, and “The Earth Will Be Okay” closes things off as forcefully, yet subtly as the rest of the EP, which we admire not just for the uniqueness of each track, but the way in which it was built. We’re looking forward to hearing this one on a soundsystem.

About the release
