Born in Turin, Italy, Yaya is a dynamic DJ, producer, and label founder whose sound blends his African heritage with refined Italian influences. Introduced to music through his father, the lead vocalist and percussionist of the ensemble M’bamina, Yaya began his journey as a drummer before diving into electronic music. His career took flight in 2009 when he joined the renowned Desolat family, leading to performances at top clubs and festivals across Europe and beyond. In 2016, he launched Tamango Records, a respected label that has become a hub for high-quality house music and artists like Loco Dice, Enzo Siragusa, and Cassy. Today, Yaya continues to push boundaries with his deeply rhythmic, globally inspired sound that bridges tradition and innovation.
