“Whispers Before Midnight” is parade of timbres and textures that result in a cohesive, yet variable collection of tracks that engages the listener.

The album, as a whole, gels together nicely with a good blend of both synth-dominant tracks and guitar-forward tracks. The listener is given the opportunity to taste the various influences across these tracks, as wavetearz mashed together blends of shoegaze, new wave, new romantic, and even some classic 80's synthpop. “Whispers Before Midnight,” has something to add to the broader chillsynth conversation.
