Sterio Sevill, also known as Rio, was born in a place were the lights are bright and dreams are like shooting stars, the Boogie down Bronx, New York City. He was raised in a single family home, with the help of his Grandmother and Grandfather. Through his upbringing he learned the true meaning of drive and determination. He was always into music but it wasn’t until the death of two close friends, that he channeled his violent energy into his words for the conception of his music. At the early age of 16 Sterio beginning going to the Studio and later would start recording tracks of his music. During this time he would learn to perfect his craft, while discovering the finesse of music and performing. It was at this stage that he fell in love with music, not just rap but all types of music. His love for music reflects in his words, everlasting, always changing, evolving, versatile and passionate. He not only wanted to love music but wanted to understand music, so he studied the blueprint of the music formula and after several years of endurance and hard work he released his first Mixtape in 2008, BlueSteel, as an Independent artist. Some may ask what can the fans expect next from this rapper, singer/song writer, only time will tell. But one thing is certain the sky is the limit.
