Meaning:
“I wrote “Drown” about the voices in my head. My internal conflict that seeks release in the moments most chaotic. Almost like how candles burn brightest in the moments just before they burn out. As the song progresses, I try to confront “the voices” only to realize that in the end, we will only drown together.”

  Sterling’s music is made to connect with people.
