His music draws on up to 30 layers of real custom samples, real world field recordings-from orca calls to distant storm rolls—woven together in chaotically rhythmic cadences that mirror nature’s own intelligence and teamwork. 

A proud father and devoted friend, Steve survived a near‑fatal encounter overseas that deepened his belief in art’s transformative power. When he isn’t serving others, sketching track designs, or working on his next book, you’ll find him in his apartment  sampling the world around him—blending forest rain, ocean swells, and urban hum into futuristic soundscapes.
