Pig Lickin

After hearing Dan's (@buckers-the-realist)new track, Step Back, I was inspired to dust off the musical toolbox and create a remix.

I think of the original as an intimate discussion or lesson, from Dan directly to the listener. Each word and phrase is meticulously crafted and passed with care into the listener's ear.

As a counterpoint, my version is a call to arms, shouted from a podium into the crowd. The words are punches. The message more abstract.

Technical points:

Th vocals and music were split out using online tools, then chopped and tweaked inside Studio One.

A few samples were used from my library as well as synths and guitar.

I tried to use as many elements from the original track as possible, sliced and diced, mashed and squished.

A track I've been playing around with to get to grips with Studio One. I've also tried out Vocaloid - really not sure, it does Japanese girls really well but I'd need to spend a lot longer to get anything close to decent.
