Coming up via Endless Music is 'Blue Notes', a new EP by groovy house and disco aficionado Luca Olivotto. The deceptively named EP is far from 'blue' and bursts with positive energy coming right in time for the start of summer. 'I Know Ya', the first of the 3 tracks, features a strong bass and piano riff, setting the right mood for house vocals featured throughout the composition. A mixture of popular 80s sound aesthetics and classic house music can be clearly heard and felt here. The slightly faster title track 'Blue Notes' follows a groovy path paved by the rhythm section and leads to a strong break with a powerful drop in the style of ecstatic disco functions. 'Days and Nights', slightly moodier in nature, starts calm but quickly evolves in intensity thanks to its percussion elements and bassline, turning into a strong, yet soulful tune with beautiful, melancholic vocal lines and relaxing electric piano loops..
