LePortier sieht sich als Kind der 20er und 30er Jahre. Hierbei ist er nicht nur dem Stil der zurückliegenden Zeit, sondern insbesondere deren Musik verfallen. Aber auch die heutigen Töne und Beats imponieren ihm sehr, weshalb er sich dem Electro Swing verschrieb.

Als neues Mitglied der Electro-Swing Crew Hamburg, sind die Clubs der Stadt sein "Hotel". Dessen Pforten, Türen und Zimmer verwaltet er mit seiner persönlichen Unterschrift durch verschiedene Live-Komponenten. Eine Übernachtung reicht hierbei vollkommen aus, um den Einklang von altem, melodischem Swing und neuen, rhythmischen Housebeats lieben zu lernen!

Im Alter von 17 Jahren merkte Philip Kay das er sich der elektronischen Musik hingezogen fühlt. Nach ein paar Jahren folgten die ersten Auftritte im damaligen Petite Cerise (Coburg), damals legte er noch unter dem Namen "Kay le Phunk" auf. Er war dort des öfteren am Wochenende am Pult anzutreffen. 

Später kam sein damaliger Dj Kollege dazu und sie startenden einige Gigs zusammen. 

Daraufhin gründeten sie das Duo "Klangzyklus" mit dem sie auch eigene Partys veranstalteten und mit einigen bekannten Djs (Mark J Klak/ Boogie Pimps, The Glitterboys, Louis Garcia, Der Housekasper) auftreten durften. Seit Anfang 2015 legt Philip Kay wieder als Solo Künstler auf und somit auch mit neuen Namen.

Musikalisch gibt's weiterhin fette House Beats dazu Deep u. Electro  Sounds.

Since the 90s, the charismatic Swiss DJ & Producer Steve Cole has been honing his performance & production talent to become a serious force in the underground techno & minimal scene.

On the performance side – Steve has performed his trademark electric minimal & techno-charged live shows at some of the finest underground clubs & festivals across Europe including Sonar in Barcelona, Sea You Festival and Grenzenlos Festival in Germany, Nordstern & Hive Club in Switzerland, and countless more shows across Berlin, UK, Italy, Paris, Dominion Republic & Holland.
 
On the production side, Steve has released his music and co-productions on vinyl and digital format with some of the finest international artists including @RonaldChristoph, @Andreas-Henneberg, @David-Keno, @DJHellOfficial, @GabrielLeMar, and more.

Over the last two decades, Steve has released his music on world-class record labels including his imprint @Schallbox-Records, @Neopren-Records, @MyFavouriteFreaks, Keno Records, Natural Rhythm, @Dekadent-Schallplatten to name a few.

2021 has seen Steve enter the next exciting stage of his professional music career, continuing further studio collaborations with producers, beginning to perform shows again post-covid, and releasing debut tracks digitally on rapidly rising record labels @PuzzleProjectsMusic and @HOT-GROOVERS – releases have included a p@otent dub techno EP titled ‘Fade News’ with Ronald Christoph released to critical acclaim on @PuzzleProjectsMusic, this has followed with the ‘Groove Monsta’ EP with @BEDRAN-Music Remix on @HOT-GROOVERS. 

Going into 2022 sees Steve & Ronald Christoph enjoy a highly anticipated re-release of ‘Edbeermund’ on the upcoming ‘LESS CHAT, MORE MUSIC’ vinyl on @PuzzleProjectsMusic and several other releases on other top record labels worldwide.
