This was our 3rd full length album, and it serves as our opus. I'm still very proud of this album. We dropped the LRD moniker and solely went as Last Real Deal, playing what we described as our own brand of cowpunk. The original lineup was no more, as Mikey Gonzalez left the band permanently before writing this material, but Jon "Shark Attack" Meeks came onboard just long enough to record this album. After this album, I played rythym from that point on.

This was the band before Gary the Guy and I joined. Danny Jones came to see Gary and I play in GCII (government cheez' 2), and suggested we join forces. Gary and I joined up with Marc and Mikey and Danny and dropped the Los Rockin Diablos moniker in favor of L.R.D., which stood for nothing at the time. We brought our GCII songs over and those were used on L.R.D.'s first album, Bridges of San Bernardino County. Danny handles vocals on this album.

This wasn't actually L.R.D., as it was recorded after the band broke up the second time. We did a quick recording at Sound Arena rehearsal studios in Anaheim with Danny on drums, Gary on guitar and myself on bass and vocals. Bono was song we never wound up recording, and this was the early version of No Regrets we eventually recorded on Dive Bars.

Sonic Death Monkey featured Marc Diablo (LRD), Mikey Gonzalez (LRD) and Chris Pereia (American Remains) and myself on vocals. It was short lived, but we had some good songs. We recorded the drums for this in my parents living room, and the rest in Mikey's bedroom.
