Markantonio’s AnalyticTrail is excited to welcome Konrad for his debut on the label with “Jumping to the Beat” EP.

The release opens with a dub mix of the main track “Jumping to the Beat” together with the original mix and “Back to the Origins” to close the EP. Three peak techno bangers that exactly express the label sound and style that keep evolving day by day, “Groovy tracks engineered for the dance floor!” Like our slogan says.

Konrad started his journey into techno music at a very young age, he’s a true combination of DJ and Producer boasting a large catalogue with releases on top labels such as Unrilis, We Are The Brave, Phobiq, Codex Recordings, Octopus Records and Respekt Recordings just to name a few.

“Jumping to the Beat” EP is a true representation of Konrad’s style and sound signature, defined by massive and pounding kick and rumble bass, groovy percussions, dancy rhymes and distorted piano melody that gives his track a top notch flavor.

Whether treading into electronica with the album's existential bookends; "Interiors" and "Last Transmission", or flexing big-room techno muscles on "The Day the Earth Stood Still" & "Rigel", there is an indelible fingerprint throughout the 11 tracks that merits continuous listens to reveal its multi-layer depth. Filled with cinematic and cosmological references throughout, what makes "Friends, Lovers, & Other Constellations" truly unique is that it is not merely music for a clubbing experience, but something more, something akin to a musical mission statement; To prove that there is more to dance music than just a 4/4 beat, cliche drug references, and party themed vocals. Fitzpatrick has enlisted some of techno's finest over the years with a release catalogue which includes works from Avision, Skream, Huxley, Eli Brown, CamelPhat and Sasha. As the label approaches it's 50th release, Alan celebrates sell out showcases across the globe, including The Warehouse Project Manchester, Fabric London, SWG3 Glasgow, Shine Belfast and their annual residency in Watergate, Berlin. For their 50th release, We Are The Brave offer us a massive six tracker, with three originals from the boss and some heavy remixes from Brennen Grey, Mark Broom and SAMA. 
 
Opening with title track 'I Still Remember' Fitzpatrick reels us in with his dystopic drums and ominous spoken word sample. Alan incorporates acid stabs and dark pads, creating at emotive yet eerie atmosphere. Remixing this is German producer Brennen Grey, known for his high pace, high energy sets - he's lit up the US scene playing EDC Vegas and Movement. His version of the original takes it to a darker place, with skippy percussion and an original vox.

The name doesn't give anything away here as Alan's original 'Buttered Otter' keeps the EP on a similar vibe with its deep, relentless pulsating drum. Fitzpatrick recruit's techno legend Mark Broom for this remix, with a stripped back feel which mirrors the original perfectly.

Finally, 'Emergency' drops a tribal beat and stomps with us all night long, and its spacey UR pads and sonics give it dreamy qualities in the break. SAMA drives in some swirling pads and a solid low end increasing the intensity. He manages to create warmth and an analogue vibe throughout - perfectly done!
