River Falls

This piece was played on a Kohno Pro-J classical guitar tuned in DADGAD. It won an honor award in the International Songwriting Competition (Instrumental Category) and will appear on my next solo CD due out in 2014.

Tanera

Some years ago I was the Musical Director of the hit West End production of Buddy - The Buddy Holly Story. Two of the actors, Van Zeiler and Victoria Stilwell, who played Buddy and Maria onstage married in real life. After moving to the US (Van is American) Victoria is now doing very well for herself with her show 'It's Me or the Dog' on Animal Planet. This piece is dedicated to their daughter, Alexandra. It is played on a 2002 Kohno Pro-J classical guitar.

This piece started out as a demo which morphed into something else that ended up on one of my production library CD's. The ancient stone circle near the village of Callanish on the Isle of Lewis off the East coast of Scotland provided the inspiration. Main guitar was my old Gibson 335 which I sold to a bloke in Italy.
